Do You Find Time On Vacation To Work On Your Business?
When we go on vacation. It's a lot of go go go. And luckily everyone likes to take a rest. I have a hard time sitting idle. I wake up early and am ready to go. If no one wants to go out and about and decide to just lounge around, I'm gonna take that time to work on things. And at night when everyone's asleep, I'll run my batteries down and then go to sleep.
This weekend, we stepped away to go to a holiday event and stayed at a resort. What's great about this resort is it's mainly enclosed. And I'm sure many of you have been to these properties. 10 Points if you can guess where the photo was taken.
Well... while my family was chillin'... reading a book or playing on their phone or a game on their laptop, I sit with my laptop on the balcony and enjoy the noise. The sound of waterfalls which overpower the sound of people interacting and the sound of music that's coming from the doorways that lead to another area of the resort. Lots of twinkling lights to give the area a relaxing ambiance.
I can just sit here all day to people watch and take in the white noise. But I take a few minutes to write this post and others as well as I think and reflect while sipping on my spiked hot chocolate.

I'm the same way Robert. I wake up early every day, including weekends and vacations. I’m usually up around 5am and my wife doesn’t get up until 10, so I use that time for the business.
I do the same thing with dead space at my 9-5.
Great thing is, it’s not anything that’s forced. I really look forward to this time of productivity.

Looks like a pretty spooky place to me Robert and I am betting it's not an island in the South Pacific... or is it???
It all depends upon the type of vacation and who is with us for me...
Just me, the dog and the wife... then I can can a lot accomplished in a poolside villa overlooking the sea!!
When her family is there with all of the screaming bambinos.... any productivity is hard to come by!!
