Excitement Within Rank 200
Last night, I was using an IPad to answer the messages of Wealthy Affiliate in the inbox of Yahoo. (I use a desktop when learning the lessons.) Then suddenly a message burst on the screen saying that I was in the top 200 rank of WA! I was excited though not so much surprised as I sort of expected it having ranked 215 during the previous night. I was able to note that the message appeared on the screen at 10:45 p.m. (Philippine time) but was not able to notice if what new rank did I have as the message abruptly disappeared.
I immediately went to my profile screen and looked into the rank number below my profile picture. I waited for a moment and there the new rank number appeared, number 181! And so I said to myself, what a big accomplishment after 31 days of being in premium. I growled for myself as my wife and children were not with me. (I did not tell them of my membership as my wife may just discourage me because of my discontinuance of previous business schemes like herbal medicines, electrical gadgets, insurance, etc.).
Not contented with what I saw, I looked into the ranking screen of the top 200 And there I saw again beside my name the number !81! Now I can pat myself on the back.I madei it! I have proven myself capable of landing in the magic 200. Perhaps,I can now rest, stop commenting on the blogs, stop the liking, the following of members, the response to followers - all these that hindrances my concentration on learning the lessons.
But a thought once again came across. There must be a balance between the time spent on the side of commenting, blogging and following and on the side of learning the lessons. I should not love one and despise the other. Both should be loved. That is how to be in WA.
Okey. I shall love both. So once again, let's go on!

Awsome Benji! congrats. we're in the club together. some people say, it's just a number, but I know, after being in the upper 100's a few times over the time I have been here, it feels good. It is a personal challenge. Take pride, and keep on writing!!!!
