What it really takes to succeed in an Online Business
Hi there, Vincent here!
This is my first blog post here, and I will be talking about what exactly it takes to build that online business. Well, I just joined Wealthy Affiliate three nights ago, so pardon me if I miss some blog post ethics.
Now, you may be wondering how much I know to write a blog post about this, considering the fact that I just joined here. The answer is simple. Wealthy Affiliate made it easy for me to know what it takes - Hard work and Persistence. That's right! You weren't expecting something like "Money investment and get-rich-quick schemes", were you? If you did, then you really need to go over the "Get Started Here" lesson.
Hard Work: When referring to hard work, I don't mean you have to work so much that you start sweating. Of course, that wouldn't happen unless you're into some strenuous physical task. "Hard Work" in the sense of an Online Business simply means you have to put all your best into your websites, affiliate programs, promotions and all. Do not leave anything to chance. This is especially for starting members like me. You have to work hard at it. Keep researching, keep building superb niche-related content, keep developing your website. When you start getting traffic, follow up on your subscribers as much as you can. The success you'll record is a function of how much work you put in. It does not happen overnight, trust me. It happens over time, gradually, if you keep working. Like any other job out there, hard work is necessary to succeed in an Online Business. Kyle taught me that. :-D
Persistence: This is where a lot of people miss out. They give up when they do not start making money immediately. It's funny, you know, because even offline, there's no genuine business that will make you money immediately you start. Why expect something different online. The sooner you really see this as a standard business, the easier it'll be for you to keep at it. It's never easy at the beginning, I know that because I am a beginner too. However, persistence is key. Keep working. From what I've learnt here, you may work for months without even earning anything. That's no excuse for you to back out. Instead, it should be the reason for you to keep working. Who taught me that? Uhmmm, I'm trying to figure that out. :-D
The startup can be overwhelming, I know. I'm there right now; I know what I'm going through. But then, it'll all be worth it in the end. I wish us all the best as we keep being persistent with our hard work. Success is just around the corner; we're almost there. We cannot turn back now.
Cheers!
Vincent.

Spot on Vincent. "even offline, there's no genuine business that will make you money immediately".
The more people that understand this, the better off they will be. Online businesses take just as much effort to get off the ground, but with minimal overheads. So its a win/win :)
Your writing style is very good. Keep it up Man.
Oh, thank you so much for the compliment and encouragement, Josh From Oz. I'm glad you agree with me.
Well done Vincent on your first WA blog. If this is how you are able to write content, with a couple of minor tweaks using keyword placements, you will do very well in the construction of your content.
The two characteristics you describe above are certainly true and no one should ever think that success and money will come quickly. No one to my knowledge has ever become wealthy in an online business within a year, especially without working their butt off.
Keep up the good work!
So true, boomergp08. That's why I'll keep working. The first paragraph of your comment actually made me smile. Thank you.
