Hi Everyone! My sister has made a video about her adventures with Epilepsy. She has a goal to increase awareness by making a YouTube video.

Then, she found out about the National Epilepsy's video contest and decided to enter. She needs to get as many YouTube Likes as possible. Please help her by liking this video! Thanks! http://youtu.be/cOT9z91ntLA

Thank you for all the comments this blog entry has received so far! Artists always appreciate them.

I really enjoyed her presentation... balanced with humor and life experiences with seizures. My son started having seizures about a year ago. He is a senior in High School. I will share this with him as I think it is very inspirational and confirms he can continue living his life, instead of walking on egg shells and with drawing from life.
We are still trying to find our way with this... trying to get meds balanced and tweeked. Thank You for sharing and thank her for telling her story. I t will help many. Julie

I hope it will. I think she wants to go to various states and continue increase awareness. I hope you can find a way to make his seizures more manageable. Thank you for your comments. I'm sure she'll enjoy reading them!

Checked out the video...very creative! liked and shared on G+ also. I've witnessed quite a few seizures due to working at a long-term care facility and often people new to the job are not sure what is going on or what they should do...it's always such a heart-rending situation to witness and I can't even imagine how the person suffering through it must feel.

Thanks very much! I know she'll appreciate the likes as well as the comments.

Liked and shared on G+, it was a great video.
My daughter also has seizures due to a scare on her brain, thankfully if she takes her medication she can keep it under control.

Thanks for your support. I'm happy to hear that your daughter's seizures are under control!
