Do you have a blog business plan?

My basic plan is to set a blogging schedule and make sure I have time for it. I create "big projects" like I want to target all keywords about X, then set out a schedule to get all of them done.
Then I kind of regroup and replan based on the results I get from that. Ultimately, we want to get traffic to our site, so any plan you think of should be traffic focused at this point.

I changed my blog posts from showing the entire post on the associated page to only showing the summary. When I go directly to my page, the post shows (in full format) but when
Hm. Possibly a theme issue or plugin conflict? Have you tried switching themes to see if the problem persists?
I have not I will now...I did notice that if I go directly to http://becomingbasicallybalanced.com my DIY page displays (perfect!) when I navigate and go back to DIY projects the URL displays as http://becomingbasicallybalanced.com/our-diy-projects/ wondering if I have them linked wrong?
It looks like maybe you set http://becomingbasicallybalanced.com/our-diy-projects/ as your home page which would produce the results you have now.
I looked at http://becomingbasicallybalanced.com/blog/ Did you set this page as having your blog roll? These settings are in Settings > Reading of your WP dashboard area.

Let me know if that fixes your problem.
Also, it looks like you have multiple social plugins running, which may be slowing down your site. Pick just 2-3 buttons on ONE plugin, and that should be plenty.
Thanks. I don't see any Blogs. I see one on your Home Page but it stays the same (large format) and it stays the same when I leave and return. What am I mising?
thats the blog the DIY page-I'm wondering if I associated the post to the wrong page. I noticed the URL changes when I hit the DIY page....I'm gonna play around and see if I can fix it. Thanks for taking a look!
I think you need a Home Page...you don't have one. The link you sent is for a Blog. Correct? So when you create a Home Page, what do you want us to first see? You got this!!!
I originally had a home page.....but in the DIY niche most other blogs take the viewer directly to their blog......so that I think based on all other blogs I've seen I want the DIY page to be the home page.
Thanks for the encouragement! I'm determined to make this happen :)
Well, there are actually 2 ways. People do one or the other.
Static Pages keep the same opening Page, which a lot tend to do.
Blog Roll shows your latest Post.
So you can keep that link as the Home Page. Not sure what you want to do beyond that...
Surely you will figure out which way you want to go...
