I'm having a lot of trouble trying to set my website domain mail that i created with Site Email to outlook on office 365. I'm adding the information as needed but it always say

Did you solve your problem with Office 365?

I've been at it for months, Microsoft Help desk worked with me for 3 hours today.

WA Site support refers me to old training which hasn't worked, and I've tried over and Over and OVER, thinking I have to be missing something.

Has anyone gotten their WA Email on Outlook?

I really want my Outlook. I've used it for decades. I really, really want to make this work.

Thanks in Advance,

Elizabeth

Yes Elizabeth, I see why you asked this because reading through the comments, it appears that Donovan has not been able to resolve this issue.

However, when I Google searched "forward webmail to outlook 365" (without the quotation marks, of course) several posts offering what appears to be good instructions were offered.

In your case, you may want to simply Google search "forward webmail to outlook software"
or
"forward webmail to outlook online" whichever you are using

Hope you find this helpful.

I will certainly try.

Getting really frustrated.
I've been at this for months, and have been at it for 4 hours 40 minutes today, with 3 hours of assistance from 2 experts at the Microsoft help desk. They've arranged to call me back tomorrow, because they're stumped.

I do need to move in a new direction, so I will try your advice.

Well, God must loathe me, because when I google "forward webmail to outlook 365" I get hundreds of instructions on how to forward email FROM outloook 365.

I'm actually starting to cry.

So... does this mean you've got what you need?

No, it means that I still do not have what I need.

I am trying to get my WA Email TO Outlook, NOT from Outlook, and

I really do appreciate any and all assistance.

I am taking this in a new direction, in that I am now going out to find a provider of email services, so that I can set that other email up in Outlook, then forward my WA emails to that other email address.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, hoping for different results.

I've gotta try something new.

There are two other search phrases that I offered you to use. You are still not saying which version of Outlook your are using. When Google searching instructions you need to be specific.

Thank you very much.

One problem I ran into - in the pop-up "SMTP Settings" box, the username for the outgoing server only had my domain "xyz.com" - instead of the full email address (clay@xyz.com), so I kept getting errors.

I am not sure about how to fix this but site support would know how to fix the problem I would go and contact them now so you can get it fixed right away.

Not sure what the problem is, other than to make sure that the SMTP settings are those listed, and that the password is not the one used for webmail.

Yeah thats the thing. When trying to add a new account the only 2 options I get for mail are POP and IMAP. When I click on either of those it asks me on Incoming mail
Server:
Port:
Encryption Method:
Require Logon using SPA

and on outgoing mail it asks me to enter,

Server:
Port
Encryption method

and thats it. The SMTP options don't quite fit but I tried to translate them the best I can. I added my website domain in the incoming mail and the SMTP.Siterubix one into the outgoing mail. I've tried both passwords I've been given as well.

I'm not quite sure where I'm going wrong here

yeah thats what I've been trying it under. Just to confirm, should I be using the password I'm getting for incoming mail or outgoing mail? I'm assuming incoming but you never know.

OK, there is one password for incoming, and the second one for outgoing - you will be using both of them in their respective settings.

yeah not getting the option to input them. Here let me add a screenshot to show you what I'm seeing.
Then after I input the details as best I can here, all its asks me for is to enter your password for your email. And i've tried both here to an avail.

Can you give me a screen shot prior to this?

Here you go.
Before this screen, the only thing on the screen is "Enter email address to add to your account"

OK, it's not letting me set up a new account either. Open a ticket with SiteSupport and send them a screenshot of every screen along the way.

Ok I will do. Thanks for trying to help anyway. I'm pretty sure its something small I've overlooked it usually always is.
