Google just removed Authorship images from Search Engines!
I went to do some online research today and noticed pages that were once displaying images for authorship are no longer.
After poking around, it turns out that Google has completely removed this feature! That's right, no more Google+ images next to our posts within the search engines!
What are the alternatives? Well, Jay as always was the first guy on the scene with recommendations on how to prevent traffic from dropping.

Jay the first guy on the scene regarding this?!?!? LOL! - Cute ;)
This has actually been being discussed online for a loooooooong time now. It is something to do with making the internet more 'mobile' friendly. Apparently the majority of the worlds internet users spend most of their internet browsing on mobile devices now.
Crazy!
*Mobile devices are considered anything 'tablet' and smaller.
I was completely unaware they were planning to remove the feature. In fact, I honestly thought it was going to be the leading motivation for years to come to get anyone interested in an online presence to join Google+.
I'm bummed! :)
