I wouldn't use this one. It hasn't been updated since December of last year. There have been major changes to Wordpress since then. It is only supported for 3.8.3 the revision is about to change to 4.0.
Pretty Links is good and fully supported.

2-1/2 months for Google to process a sitemap - I expect that means it took that long to crawl the site as well.
ahhh, one of the steps I haven't gotten to yet. guess I better get to it if it takes that long to process.
I've been wondering about the google crawl delay myself so adding myself to the discussion. I don't think I've been crawled yet.

2-1/2 months for Google to process a sitemap - I expect that means it took that long to crawl the site as well.

Whats is with spam comments anyway? I had 73 in a day a couple of days ago and finally installed a plugin that took care of that. They are usually giberish, sometime a few words
Sometime it’s just to be a troll and sometimes it is to draw people to their website. Anything that does not have to do with what the page or post is about is a spam, but sometime they can still get in. especially if you just blindly accept them. n_n
