What lies in the stillness that we fear to look at?
Hello to you all, I just wanted to share some thoughts
I know like me, most of you are busy trying to get your online business up and running and of course most of us do this in our spare time to try and make our financial dreams comes true and I guess that makes us all very busy bees most of the time
After many years in recovery form alcoholism, I remember that I was drinking to chase a feeling, I was always chasing something or rather I was always running away from something or trying to stop feeling pain, trying to drown my fear or my sorrows with alcohol
I also discovered that in this life most people are chasing something trying to get from A to B, always chasing the next dream always regretting the past or dreaming of a better future
One of my most favorite analogy's of this is the butterfly analogy
If you go into a field with a butterfly net and try and catch a butterfly they will all fly away from you, so if you want to catch a butterfly try standing still and they will all land on you
I think this is the best description of the law of attraction I have ever heard, although all of us must work for our goal its our inner world that really creates our outer world and not the other way round
So what is your inner world like, are you a butterfly chaser or do you stand still and wait for the world to come to you.
I have the following words posted above my computer, to remind me where the real power to succeed will come from, so I thought I would share it with you
You need not leave your room, remain sitting at you table and listen, you need not even listen, simply wait.
You need not even wait, just learn to become quite and still and solitary.
The world will freely offer itself to you and be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.
The coexistence of opposites - stillness and dynamism at the same time makes you independent of situations and circumstances, people and things.
Wherever you go in the midst of movement and activity, carry your stillness with you
So the next time you feel in the need for inspiration of creativity, try and re frame from searching for answers on Google or the bible or following some guru on u tube but instead learn to be still and let your real power and greatness surface and show you the way
In the words of Nelson Mandela "its our light we fear not our darkness"
Learn to be still and see what an amazing difference it will make to your life - always its the simple stuff that really works but we look past the simple things, we never see what is in front of us because we are always regretting the past or dreaming of a new future but all the great things in life are in the power of right now
Question = What lies in the stillness that we fear to look at?
Answer = Our true selves and our freedom from bondage

Well said Barry. I find that meditation ( quieting the mind) of all the chatter (thoughts) is a beautiful way to come back to reality and ones true creative nature. I couldn't agree more, our true selves and our freedom lies in the stillness. When I first started working online, my head would buzz after working on the computer for awhile, I would get up go outside with a cup of tea and listen and be still and after a short while my head would clear. I had come back to reality once again.
Absolutely loved the title and the reference to Google. Very well said. This was a great blog, thanks for posting. It made my day.
