My website is indexed but it says that my post's are not.
This is a good question actually.
So this is normal. Because while your site as a whole is indexed, the individual posts/ pages are indexed on an individual basis. So you might post something and it could take a few days, or longer, to get indexed. This is especially true when your site is new and you are still building trust with Google.
In any case, it's nothing to worry about.
Hi Austin. Two things:
Did you 'fetch' your posts in Google Search Console? Using the New Google Search Console Why fetch and render on Google Search Console To quickly audit your site to see exactly what is going on as far as indexing is concerned? Two Step SEO Audit Hope this helps

This may be a stupid question but if my website is indexed on google, why are the posts not?

Hi Austin,
Indexing a website and indexing a post or page are 2 very different things. You can have a website indexed but not the pages or posts. Sometimes, some of the posts and pages are indexed and not all, too.
This is all up to the search engine's algorithm. If you are look at Google, then it is up to Google's search algorithm to 'decide' if you page or post gets indexed.
I am mentioning this because in future, you may notice that not all your pages or posts are indexed. And that is ok.
Now for the reason.
The Google search algorithm looks at many factors to index a page or post. And also many other factors to rank a post or page.
When your page or post is not indexed at the moment, it does not mean it will never be indexed. It is just that some posts and pages may take longer than others to index.
Long story short, it takes time.
Wait a while and see. If after some time (weeks or months), your pages and posts are still not indexed, then I suggest using this link to submit a post or page to have it indexed - https://bit.ly/1qcEceS
Again, as you can see on that page, Google does not guarantee that by submitting your link, it gets indexed - "Google adds new sites to our index, and updates existing ones, every time we crawl the web. If you have a new URL, tell us about it here. We don't add all submitted URLs to our index, and we can't make predictions or guarantees about when or if submitted URLs will appear in our index.".
Still, better to submit than not right?
In fact, if you like, you can start submitting your pages and posts now.
