Are You Writing From the Heart?

This is a post mostly for the newbies who are struggling with writing content. It's almost as though no one wants to admit that writing massive amounts of posts isn't a challenge. But the truth is that some people are more naturally verbose than others and some people love to write. I'm not one of them!

What I do enjoy, is when I am writing about something I've had a lot of experience with and a lot of pleasure, like my musical career. Then I find myself writing from the heart and it just flows. One idea leads to the next. Lists are easy. Researching becomes second nature when you know what you are looking for.

I remember when I was a child my mother writing letters. It was a weekly pastime, she used to average

about 8 fulls cap pages per letter for about 12 letters a week. That's a lot of writing. I often wondered what she was saying in these long letters and she gave me one to read one day.

It was full of all the happy life that she was living with her husband and children. Living on a farm and helping my father with his building business. She wrote about her garden and how some plants flourished and others died.

These were wonderful letters of joy and sorrows, shared experiences and knowledge that could be transferred from England to Australia. They tied our family together for 50 years and only now I realize how important all those bits of information were.

Our new internet businesses are founded on unique great quality content and lots of it. This is an important skill that we all need to perfect. When we write from the heart about something that we find interesting, our readers will too.

Fortunately, we have lots of training available on the WA training platform and on the world internet to hone this skill, until writing is a simple as breathing.
