Hard Out Here for a New Affiliate
As I wrap up level 2 of the Online Entrepreneur Certification, I find myself going through some anxiety about this whole venture not working out. There have been a dozen other ventures in the past that I have sunk countless hours into for little to no return, and the stakes are only higher now that I am older and have a family that I'm trying to provide for. That said, the same is probably true for every other Wealthy Affiliate out there!
I have picked up some web development skills, and I am pleased with the nifty little website I am putting together, but what I like the most is writing articles. My niche is sports betting, so being able to type out in detail all of my theories and strategies for betting on sports has been incredibly satisfying!
It has certainly made me a better bettor. Haha.

I definitely wouldn't give up. Remember this if anything, the older a domain ages, the more authority it has! Google trusts websites that are around for the long haul, if two domains try and compete for the same keyword phrase, but one of the two domains is older, chances are google will pick the older domain.
If you can hook up with Fan Duel... they have an affiliate option in which you can get a 35% revenue share from all your referrals, imagine that cash stacking up... imagine that kind of revenue if you make an article and it blows up the search engines! You would have it made my friend!

I think that we have all been through this feeling Alex. I guess the way I deal with it is to imagine what I would be doing if I wasn't building my website and how else I would make money.
The time will still pass and I would be no nearer to earning a good income, so it's worth the time and effort and learning soooo much.
Hang in there, it will all work out. Try to be patient, that is the hardest part.

This is why I am here at WA. I think everyone has that feeling, but the support, motivation and feedback from everyone here gets you through.
I have been here as premium for 7 months. Not long, just starting to see some results. Another year at least to be a real business. But like any business it takes time to build.
Good businesses always take time to build.
