Course 1 is Complete

Yippey! I finished course 1 in a week's time, which is actually 3 days before my goal! I had originally given myself a 10 day period to finish this, due to my 9-5, but I was able to take advantage of a rainy, dreary Sunday and I put in several more hours that day than I had planned. The result........ finishing ahead of schedule!

It would have been so much easier to read, watch tv or play around on the net, but I stood my ground and worked on my site and courses.

I would definitely say that the task that gave me the most trouble (after the "finding my niche" task) was the about me page. It took forever for me to get that one done. I pretty much wrote several drafts over a couple of days. I still need to add a couple of links to that page and also a photo, but for the most part, it's done.

I feel great and I love these little mile stones that you have to check off before going onto the next lessons and courses. Each time I check one of the boxes, it's a visual that I've accomplished another task and that feels great. It gives me the sense that I am making progress, which for me is important.

Onward an upward to course 2!
