What To Expect After 3 Months?
Hey everyone! I've been a member of WA for almost 3 months now! I've been diligently working on building and expanding my site and am just in need a little motivation. I was hoping you could share some of your stories as to where you were (progress-wise) after your first 3 months?
I feel like I'm kind of plateau-ing. My site's traffic is kind of stagnant and not increasing as much as I feel it should. I usually get a steady 12 - 15 users per day (a significant decrease from previous months) and maybe double that in clicks. Is this normal or below average? I guess I'm just looking for a way to measure my success?!? Any comments are absolutely welcome and if you're interested in seeing my site, click here: http://www.sensorysparks.com
Thanks So Much For Your Time,
Ashley A.

Some ideas: Did you search for startpages and forumsites or school/daycare sites something like that and ask to put your link or banner on to increase visitors? Your site has great potential in that area. Greetings Loes
Hi 3 months is a great thing ... I checked your site out ... Girl its good! But us giving you peer atta boys isnt gonna get the results you want I dont think...
I have attn. deficit disorder with hyper activity and maybe a couple other labels so take this comment with a grain of whatever. 1st Im guilty of this and I hear it ALL THE TIME from those who are on my site (its not attached here but I am going to build another one thru WA... but I like to give lots of info ... MORE MORE MORE info is better right? But not if it looks like a great big page of text. Since its an autistic site I wonder if there are widgets or some interactive features on your site to help "playful it up" a bit?
The page that deals with sleep, I must be honest it overwhelmed with text to read to the point I said too much and clicked out. I love to collect data and I want to share it all but sometimes having it all laid in front of a person just bogs their brains out and they shut off. I kinda did that. Maybe some of the info can be worked into PDF or Powerpoints that can explain some of the stuff but not laid out on the webpage. Have a blurb about sleep issues then create a fun tutorial or cheat sheet or hack tips and flips that can be attached to the blurb about sleep but sit in the background. If you make those documents go pin them to your Pintrest account and share on facebook and you run the chance of those docs, or pdfs, or ppt you create going viral. . Pintrest alone, if you pinned a fun sleepy time pdf of hacks or tips or product reviews, you know it can get passed about and linked back to you fast and furiously.
I hope this feedback is received with the knowledge its just one persons opinion. Im no authority figure on website traffic , YET... she smiles but thats my 2cents ... take it and run!!!
Good night. Brenda
I love your site, but it wasn't immediately apparent that it had to do with autism. Maybe you should add that to the title or write an intro on your home page explaining what people should expect to find? I'm just wondering if some people are confused or if your target audience would recognize the purpose.
I just helped you out some and befriended you on Facebook, I shared your autism timer post. I will continue to share your ads and spreading the wonderful work you do. I hope I help in some small way.
Do you have a Google+ account? I would love to follow you there also.
Love the site! I would just keep building it out. The more content, the better Google likes it. I have about 3 weeks to go to 3 months. Hopefully, I'll be a little bit farther along. Sometimes, though, Google doesn't rank sites for a month or more, so. . . . just keep putting out quality content!
I checked out your site and WOW! It looks very professional. :) I've been here almost three months too and I don't really have traffic yet. And you said you're getting 12-15 per day and I think that's actually pretty cool. Just keep working and I'm so sure you will be successful. You're on the right track. DONT GIVE UP! :)
Your site looks fantastic!! I agree with the previous posts. I haven't been at WA for 3 months. Your headers helped me determine that you were speaking of some type of disorder but I wasn't certain it was Autism. Keep building content & clarify that you're concentrating on ASD. Good Luck!!
