I've just started building my first website and I'm about to write my very first blog. Of course I've decided on my niche, but I have no idea what kind of
Basically, when I start to write my posts, I start out with an outline of what I want to write about. Let's say your post is on lipstick. Your outline might be an introduction on what you're going to write about, types of lipstick, how to apply lipstick, who make the best lipstick, where to buy lipstick, and finally a conclusion where you tell what you just wrote about.
Hope this helps. Good Luck
Hi Arlene.
One way to learn this is to visit websites that share the same niche as you.
Read some of the blogs on the highest ranked websites, for instance, if your niche is about aviation, you can blog about
1) How to navigate efficiently in any airport, or,
2) 10 things not to bring with you, to the airport.
Now go to Google or Bing, and type this in their search engines, and you will get tons of websites that answer these questions.
Read those blogs, and this will give you an exact method of how they do it.
Keep reading lots of blogs and soon you'll find a system that works for you.
Read until your eyes get tired, and then rest your eyes, so you can read some more.
Read blogs in your niche, but also read ones that are not, because sometimes we learn from expected sources.
Instead of writing the perfect blog post, simply write a good post. Your next post will be better, and the one after that, better yet.
Practice leads to a better performance.
From your question above, you have good writing skills, and you can become a GREAT blogger.
Others have done it, and I'm sure YOU can as well.
https://www.dictionary.com This is an excellent site to visit daily. Learning new words, gets them swirling in your mind, ... just what a blogger needs.
Ask questions and read lots.

Dear Arlene,
That would be fantastic, I'd enjoy seeing your progress and success. You're welcome, I'm still working on the review plugin in my website, so I wanted to bring it to WA for community benefit and learn more on how to work the plugin on another post. The important part is daily action and peer encouragement is helpful. I appreciate your input and discussion very much.
Thank You & Kind Regards,

And you’ll see that having 100-200 words per section will easily let you write a 1,000 + blog post easily and quickly.
Hope this helps. :)

Hi Arlene. I haven't encountered this problem before. I guess it must be because of your operating system. Will your laptop not let you upgrade to the latest Catalina version?
Are you unable to use Safari or Chrome on your laptop for anything or is it just not connecting to WA?
Philip
Hi Philip,
Thanks for your prompt response. Well, it seems that my Macbook version (OS X Lion 10.7.5) isn't new enough to update to the Catalina desktop. According to Google, I have to upgrade to "OS X El Capitano" instead, so I am trying that out as we speak.
And yes, I am still able to use Safari and Chrome, but unfortunately the WA website is the only website I can't seem to be directed to via my Laptop.
I assume you have a Macbook too although a newer version? If so, which version do you have?
Arlene
Yes, I do have a Mac, it's an early 2015 MacBook Pro and I've got the latest Catalina OS installed. Yours is presumably older?
It's weird that you can use Chrome and Safari for other things but not WA. I realize you haven't been here long but did it ever work for WA? Isn't that how you built your website?
If installing El Capitano doesn't help I suggest contacting SiteSupport. Maybe they can come up with a suggestion.
Good luck.
Philip
