Yes. Electric cars and Photovoltaic systems are good for the environment, but what damage is caused to the earth in the creation of the components of those and other(?) systems? These are my concerns. Even though I am not capable to go back to the horse and buggy lifestyle I think we as a world, might need to get back in harmony with Mother Earth. Is this realistic, probably not.
Are hybrid and EV cars environmentally friendly than conventional cars?
Basing on research, it is!
So correlating this with working at home, to decrease the presence of cars in the road, to somehow reduce the carbon dioxide emission, somehow contributes a little to benefit the earth. But a little is better than not doing anything at all!
By 2050, we might be seen considering the moon as an area of residence! ๐

Your concerns are valid and show your compassion for our beautiful Mother Earth. In your bio you mention the power of love being the driving force in life but the strength is in the heart. Learning to forgive and not judge. I pray our Mother Earth's love will forgive us for all the damage we've done to her soil and depleting her of her minerals.
By 2040 if we don't replenish the soil we will not have any natural food or water to live on. The sun will bake the planet with a boneyard of EV's scattered about. EV's are not an answer/solution and staying at home with not physically existing with other humans is unhealthy too. We are not meant to stay indoors.
No one considers the damaging pollution caused by creating the batteries for the cars.
Everything is manipulation. Push up fuel prices and people go electric. Push up energy prices and we get pushed into expensive alternatives. That hasn't worked though because people are once again using wood burners/multifuel burners and having open fires.
If all those people were so concerned about the climate they would stop using private jets and stop cutting down trees (the amazon) for greed.

You have to ask the question why are government bodies forcing us down the electric car route in the first place because electric cars are not going to change our planet.
What about all the electric points that would have to be installed which we couldn't accommodate?
What about lorries, ships, planes etc? Are they going to be electric?
There is nothing we can do that will directly improve our planet!
It is all BS but that is my own opinion!
The sun is key and you have to go back to maybe around the 70s and 80s.
The sun was yellow then, but look at it today and you will see that it is white and the UV is much greater.
NASA realized this all those years back but hadn't a clue why this was happening but the sun goes through stages.
This change in our weather is nothing to do with what we are doing and I believe it is going to get worse.
Now and I know people will disagree but a secret program was brought in to pump certain chemicals into the atmosphere, yes I know chemtrails.
Obviously, the idea was to block out the sun.
Now, we in the UK don't notice it as you do in the states because the weather here is not that great.
I have noticed this for years though where some planes fly by with vapour trails that only last a few minutes and immediately after there is a plane that leaves their trail for hours.
It doesn't take a brain surgeon to work out that something just isn't right!
