Searching for Products to Promote Within Wealthy Affiliate

This is very beneficial for newbies and in fact, anyone wanting to promote certain products relating to your Niche.

There are many ways you can find a product to promote and become an affiliate for.

You can look for merchants that have an affiliate program which you normally will see at the bottom of their website.

Here are some you can look for,

Clickbank

Commission Junction

Commission Factory

Sale a sale

JV Zoo

Amazon

There are many companies that have their own products that use merchant programs like some of the ones above to promote their programs as they find it easier to do so.

Yet there are others like Amazon and our own Wealthy Affiliate who have their own affiliate programs.

You can look up individual merchant groups or companies and find a program that is relating to your niche area.

You can google it using their search bar and type in the product or service and using the Plus (+) then type Affiliate

For example, to search health and fitness you can type either

Health and Fitness + Affiliate

Or if you want, you can also separate the two.

For example

Type in Health + Affiliate

Or type in Fitness + affiliate.

In fact, you can also just type fitness affiliate without the plus sign if you wish it works the same.

This will bring up on Google various programs groups you can join as an affiliate for that particular niche.

Broad Niche

Now, remember that health and fitness or even the words used separately are very broad but at least this gives you the right direction to head into.

Once found you can look at the different products or services they have within their site to find something more specific to your niche as per the training here in WA.

Then once you have been accepted and joined that company or in most cases via a merchant you will get an email giving your specific Affiliate link you would use when promoting that particular product or service.

Better Option

As I stated you can use those many different options to search but this can take a lot of your precious time instead the better option is to use the promote icon WA has for you found at the top menu bar.

Here you can find many major programs to join all under one roof saving you that time and effort in typing over and over again in Google or whatever search engines browser you are using

Many of the affiliate networks mentioned at the beginning are also included within the Promote section here with Wealthy Affiliate.

This way you can select the category you have an interest in and from there you can find certain individual products or services that would be more specific to your niche.

Also, it gives you what types of payment that program pays you for the commission structure along with more details on the specific program.

Wealthy Affiliate also shows you some programs that generally have high commissions, etc.

Please note:

They are not the ones who promote the product or service and are not responsible for any issues with the programs you wish to join.

Once your find what you are looking for you are directed to that merchant or company to join via their program and it is up to them to either accept or reject your application to join.

I just wanted to let you know so if you have issues you would need to deal with that merchant or company.

Important Note before joining any affiliate program.

This is of importance particularly for Newbies when first starting out.

The majority of affiliate programs will ask for your website URL as they want to see if your website is in line with the program you are wanting to promote with them.

It is always best to have at least 20 plus informational posts already up and live that relates to the niche before you join.

No good promoting camping gear and your links are on skincare.

Don’t worry about your original post not having any affiliate links with your first 20 odd posts as you can always add affiliate links later to some posts or make adjustments or updates later.

Remember the training?

Your niche needs to be specific to what your website is about for your visitors and also for Google to understand what your site is about.

Google and the other search engines when they check your site out want to know what your website is about and checks with the content you create to see if they relate.

If not then you may find more hassles along the way with poor ranking etc.

But also for the affiliate programs as they want to know you are there to promote their niche products and not everything under the sun.

This is a fair call by the affiliate groups.

Not Rocket Science

It is not rocket science when using this feature but did you know you can actually save your search queries for later use.

This can save some hassle later if you don’t or got interrupted and later you have forgotten which one you look for.
