Have you ever felt regret?

I know for sure that everyone on this earth have felt some type of regret before. You know those times when you did something in a particular situation that came upon you and you felt like you wanted to change what you did before and those moments just keep lingering in your head of you knowing that you can’t change what had happened.

Those moments are just so horrible, and the more you try to forget about it the more it just keep flooding your head. For most persons regret is hard to deal with it even leave people depressed full of anxieties. For most even cause dead because they can’t bear to live with what they have done.

It’s a proven fact that we see over and over again time after time that regret is most dangerous when we don’t learn to overcome it. That is why we have to be very careful of the things that we are doing at times. I know that most things are unavoidable. Then there are things that we can avoid to not have to deal with all those regrets down the road or rather sooner than later.

One of the things that we overlook at times is that we don’t have to get depressed over regret it is then that we can look at those things and then we can learn from them in order not to make those same mistakes again in order to spear ourselves of all those regretful moments again. We know that mistakes are a part of us growing in order to get better and we know for a fact that regret comes with those mistakes.

We have to be strong. I know that we are human and that we are going to make mistakes and that we are going to fail, but what we can do is that we can know that we make mistakes yes, and regret do follow those mistakes, but what we can do especially if it's in a case that we are dealing with success is that we know we are working for something better, and yes we are going to make mistakes here and there, but we have to know once it is for our success that at times we can’t let regret take control of us we have to hold regret by its neck and push through it.

Regret is going to be there, and yes some are very very hard to live with. It’s just a matter of how we go about our lives live it in a way that we can make a difference and not regret the most important things.

Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien

Stephen

je comprends parfaitement. 😊

No regrets, Cheston. I'm now well over 7o and everything along the way has been a learning experience!

That's wonderful I most definitely understand.
Cheston

There are many things that I regret, but I realize that the Good Lord is in control of my life, and I cannot be more happy with where He chooses to lead me on a daily basis, Cheston!

Excellent words in this post!

Jeff

Thank you so much Jeff the Lord is definitely in control I just love the way you think very positive.
Cheston.

With the Lord in control, how can I not stay positive, Cheston?

Jeff

I always wondered how grandpa became so wise how grandma made the best of everything I loved. It was through trial and error. The only thing i regret is not knowing everything that my grand parents did at the age they are compared to mine.
They are both gone from my life but not from my memories.
Regret is a very powerful word Cheston. Only those who have had it in there lives know what not to do to ever have it happen again. Thank you . I'm very serious when I say you better be writing a biography of your lifes work, by taking all your blogs and making one fabulous gift for yourself. A book by Cheston I'll let you deside on its title. May you have a very blessed day my friend.
Dennis (the man with a smoker).

Dennis sir, you always inspire me and about writing a book I have to say thank you. You reminding me over and over again seems the Lord has that in mind for me.
You said that you regret not knowing what your grandparents did at their age compared to yours. What I can tell is that you have learned a lot and that shaped you to be the wonderful, loving, caring person that you are today.

Thank you so very much again your friend
Cheston. 😊

Everyone learns from the past. Because the past is an experience that can make you stronger. We don't need to forget the past because it's good or bad. It was an experience that made today. In our lives we do not need to listen to the people around us what they think or say. Because they don't give or give anything to you. You are the one who defines yourself.

That's true the past make us stronger. Shaping us to who we are.
