I Woke Up to Exciting News

As my rank climbed at Wealthy Affiliate, I told myself I wasn't going to write a blog about it - ever. But this is why you should never say never.

I woke up this morning to find my rank had climbed into the top 200 AND I had over 1,000 people following me. As my badge was added to my profile for the top 200, the system encouraged me to share it in a post and so here I am, doing what I told myself I would never do.

First, the ranking encourages you to help others, to create and to be active within the platform. If you are already doing that, then great! You do not need the ranking statistics as an incentive for you to do what you are obviously doing already.

For others, this system helps to encourage them to welcome new people, ask and answer questions to help others, create, practice, and take advantage of training.

I enjoy scheduling time in my day, every day, to reach out to other people at different places in their WA journey, because I know how much I appreciated and was encouraged by it when I started out and how much assistance I have received along the way. I do not do that because of reaching an arbitrary goal - I do it because I know it will make the difference between giving up and staying for someone, just like it did for me.

I am grateful to have found a platform that encourages collaboration and teamwork even as we are all off in our own little corners of the world. Thank you to the WA community for the encouragement I have received over the past month and a half - it sounds so short when I say it, but wow! a lot work, connections and learning have been packed into those weeks.
