It's Official! I'm A Proud 2-Figure Business Owner

I know, if you buy a domain name, then you've already invested two figures into your business (I mean, if you bought a yearly membership for WA, then you've invested 3-figures into your business).

So I will admit, this achievement isn't exactly anything to be overly proud of. But, it definitely is a major achievement for me, since it's the first time I've made any money with ads.

Adsense Making Me Money

You see, a little over 5 days ago, I was accepted into Google Adsense. And with the recent influx of traffic, I've been able to make a small amount of money through ads.

Just today (about 5 days since I put ads on my site), I finally hit $10 dollars, making my site one that has finally made money - 2-figures worth of it.

And so, because of it, I'm now the proud owner of a 2-figure business!

I guess, if you also took the cents into account, one could argue that I was the owner of a 4-figure business.

But all joking aside, I'm really just experimenting with ads, and seeing what comes out of them. I currently have them on 'auto ads' (where Google automatically places them).

My guess is if I tweak it a bit here or there, I should be able to get a few dollars more per day, but we'll see. I'm just happy right now to be earning around $3 per day (it's better than nothing).

Hopefully, my traffic will continue to stay up as high as it has been recently, and I'll be able to apply for Mediavine at some point (since people have noted having better success with them).

But for now, I'm thankful with where I am at in my blogging experience.

Speaking Of Traffic...

For those of you who don't know, I recently posted about how I broke 1000 pageviews in one day. That was a few days ago.

Interestingly enough, I awoke today to find that I almost hit 2K page views yesterday!

It's been an exciting week, and I'm sure it's even going to be more exciting. I guess my next goal is going to have to try to shoot for 10K of page views in a day, but I don't know if I'll be able to achieve that. That may take a while.
