Today I just wanted to share a bit on an update with you as a well as sharing my progress and future goals.

If you are just starting out then 200 articles might seem like a lot of work. But believe me, you don't need to create anywhere near that to start seeing results.
Results will vary from one niche to another, but I started seeing an income after producing around 30 articles on my website.

Google watch to see how those readers react with your content, so its a good idea to write the best articles that you possibly can. Interaction with your content will send Google good signals as well as sharing your content on social media.
But most of all... The quality and amount of content on your website is what I believe will do you the most good in 2017 going into 2018. Google want's good quality content on a regular basis, no matter what the niche!

My Goals For The Future!
I'm not one for setting goals really. But the 100 posts per year goal seems to work pretty well for me. If you break that down it's only 8 or so posts per month. I don't know about you, but I don't consider that to be such hard work really.
No matter what niche you are in, you can make a good extra income with a little time and dedication. It might take take 10 articles or it might take 100! It all depends on the competition of your niche. But one thing that I can guarantee you is that you will succeed if you continue to work hard, no matter what niche you are in!
I want to give up full time work forever. That's my goal! And so long as I'm making a good profit after purchasing a second Wealthy Affiliate yearly membership, I will continue to push forwards with my online business.

Hi there. Keeping on building content certainly helps. It would seem the more content you have and the more you publish, the more authority you gain. I'm not sure though if its down to the amount you publish, how often you publish or a combination of the two? Google can be a tricky beast to tame!

Thanks for sharing Andrew, it`s true about starting to see results with maybe 10 article or maybe 100.
I think the biggest most would be online marketers have is rushing things up.
I do not make enough to write home about, not enough to get me some fancy vacation yet but if I had stopped, I`d still be here with nothing to show for it, since I decided to go on,the sales are coming in slow and who knows.
The best part of all this? even after paying the yearly membership, I know I save more than I would if I had given up.
Exactly. You just can't really tell when your site will take off. There are a few things that you can do to push it in the right direction, but so long as we relay on Google for traffic then they are in charge!
So long as the sales are coming in slowly, it means you are on the right tracks. Perhaps a little more social sharing could give you a bit of a boost?
Keep working at it and you will get there eventually!

By the way do you do any PPC? (I realize there's no 'secret' like this post mentions, but I'm just trying to determine if PPC is a key piece of the puzzle)... Thx again for a thorough update -- it's inspiring to read about your progress. Continued success to u!
Hi there! Thanks for your comment and for asking the question about PPC too. To be honest I have tried both free and paid traffic. PPC with Google and Bing can be really profitable. But to be honest I have NEVER had any luck in promoting Wealthy Affiliate with PPC. Maybe I'm targeting the wrong keywords, but it just seems really expensive to get any good traffic with PPC for Wealthy Affiliate.
On the other hand, I have had good results in using paid traffic with Bing for other products. I promoted a heath and fitness product some time ago and the campaign was successful for over a year. On the other hand I have wasted a lot of money with PPC on trial and error. It really is hit and miss sometimes with paid traffic.
At the moment I'm using nothing but free traffic and social media. I find that's the best way to see how well your pages are performing.

Hi there! Thanks for your comment. Yeah, the training here definitely works. Although I aim to eventually work full time as an internet marketer, you can start seeing results pretty quickly. If you build good content on a regular basis aiming for low competition keywords, you will get results, no doubt about it.
