how do i know if someone is trying to hack my website? I am working on developing my own ebook that i can give away before I start selling a bigger version...all of the subscribers have emails attached with legit sounding names but i'm not sure how to check that

there is - i found one searching through the plug in with the keyword "opt in" but i dont have the free content to offer in exchange yet so I haven't installed it :)

I am getting so frusterated - when someone clicks on my link www.ditchyouralarmclock.com they are directed to an empty page. They have to click on my page headings in order to s

Thanks for asking this question. I have the same problem, and would like to hear what the experts say.
I was told that the main page (home page) is just a blog roll that contains your latest postings, and thats ok by me. However, I would have thought the stuff I post on my other pages will automatically be shown on this main page (blog roll), but it remains empty like yours.
I wish I had an answer for you, and if I manage to figure it out, I will contact you immediately.
Lets hope someone out there can help us.

hey solidbase - with the help of a friend here at WA, we've managed to resolve the issue. For me, it was a matter of editing the appearance of a theme. I had to insert a "Recent post block widget" from the list of available widgets, and also under static front page, i changed from "show my last post" to show a static page, and then i just didn't choose any of my pages (left the drop down menus at -select-
update and review. Let me know if this works for you! I'll try to help if it doesn't :)

also, only blog posts will show under your blog roll - your pages will not show up so any posts you in your pages will only show up there. Make sense? sometimes i'm not that great at explaining myself

Have you tried making your about me page into a static page, that way the link should go straight to that page,
I have tried that - still goes to a blank page...and I really dont want people going to a specific page when they go to the link - i want it to direct them to a list of my blog posts so that they can see the content easily and then explore my actual pages more after. Its so frustrating :( everything else is going so well!
