So I'm 2 days old here at Wealthy Affiliate, and I have to be honest, I've been here before. A couple (maybe 3) years ago, I did this program - and I got nothing out of it and quit as quickly as I began. Mostly because, as hindsight happens to be 20/20, I just wasn't ready. I didn't take it seriously and I didn't choose to become a CEO instead of an employee. I did all 10 beginner modules in about a week, and then promptly gave up. Because after all, I wasn't making any money from this supposedly awesome system...because of course, most business's make a killing their first week out (I shake my head at myself and wish I could go back and smack some sense into me!)

Through the last 3 years, I did a lot of soul searching and self development, and I'm proud to say I'm ready now. I'm ready to own my life. I'm ready to have a voice and I'm ready to take control and responsibility for my financial future. I'm not 20 anymore - the days of "figuring out what I'm gonna do when I grow up" are over. I'm all grown up and still living with mom and dad! I want to buy a house with my boyfriend. I want to help support us so he can focus on his musical career. I want the freedom and choices that come with being financial secure! And unlike before, I'm ready to work for it! A secret goal of mine is to be "retired" and at home full time with a great income before we decide to bring children into the mix! It took me a while, and a lot of growing up, but I finally believe I can do this!

In the past I've been guilty of letting myself be the victim, but I will no longer live like that. Even now, as I sit - the Negative Nancy in my head is saying this will never work. I'm delusional to think I can replace my income and fire my boss with a $50/month investment. I'm not good enough or smart enough or experienced enough and who will want to listen to me?! Its amazing, when you become self aware of your monster inside - how easy it is to see why so many people stop. Why they give up and find an excuse to walk away. Why they let fear keep them comfortable - because it is scary as hell to own being 100% responsible for your happiness!

My original goal for the first 30 days is to make enough to cover month one and two of WA and Jaaxy. I don't know if that is even possible - but I sure as hell am gonna try! And if I don't make it - I know I will find success in other areas of my journey here - because, after all, its not all about the Benjamins'! Cheers to you all - I thank those who have already reached out, and those who will in the future - it sure would be much less fun doing this alone! :)
