Growth through devastation

I was driving down the coast today and my friend pointed to a bushland where the fires had passed through a matter of a few weeks ago .

We have ( thankfully ) a lot of rain in the last week and through the bushfire affected forest trees were blackened stumps for Km's .

Beacuse of the rain though i could see new growth pushing through the bark of the burnt trees.

I thought to myself " Look at that - the tree's even after a raging bushfire dont wait for the whole tree to be whole , tthe process of growth commences even while the whole tree is healing"

Sometimes trying to write a new blog or get my head around my new journey here , i find everything else to do except doing what i have to do !

I find I am a busy procrastinator when i have a new project .

My house is always the cleanest when i have a task at hand , like writing a post or blog or continuing with my training , i feel like i have to have everything in order before i can sit down and be creative

I really need to be like a tree .

Great post, Amera! Thanks for sharing, my friend!

Procrastination was a problem for me but when you get the bug of publishing your content it doesn’t pop its head up as often. If you do procrastinate writing content just make sure that whatever else you do is related to your new business venture then at least you’re still progressing.

Hi Amera
Recognising that you are procrastinating is the first step to overcoming it. One of the best ways to beat it is to prepare a plan or to do list so that when you have time to work on your business you know exactly what tasks need to be done.

Good luck 😉
Dave

Thanks for the post.
We can learn so much from the Aussie bush.
After a short time, you will start to see the green coming back to the bush after a fire.
I wish you the best of success here, thanks for sharing your first blog today.
Darren :)
