In love with Adsense x

I have made $15 thus far and I only launched my site on March 11......I know it doesn't sound like much but it's proving to me that this thing works and people are clicking on those ads. I only have 2 adsense ads going at the present time and feel like that is enough for me as I have other affiliate products on there (no reviews yet, so a slap on the wrist for me lol)

I can really see the potential here and it's exciting to think that as my traffic increases so will the number of clicks. At the present time I go up and down in numbers, some days I have 20 people other days I may have 10, one day 100 people came by (who knows how that happened?) I even had 2 people once, but it just goes to show that people are clicking. I have read all the averages and graphs and they mean diddly squat as i've never been one for maths, but so far I have had 1000 impressions on my site which has generated $15, I don't know what the average is here, but I'm guessing that would increase with more views?

But I am keeping that commitment of adding 1 post per week as I only have 9 posts but am steadily climbing. Making sure I get comments, adding back links, making sure that the content is up to scratch and staying on target in general.

I hope this can inspire the newbies out there and if you haven't put any affiliate links in yet then take a look at adsense. You can somewhat control what kinds of ads are shown in there, for example you're not going to take a look at my site and see a buxom lady inviting you to join a dating service as I have specified that I don't want particular ads like that in my site. What you will see, is ads with subjects that you are interested in as google looks into what you are looking at and chooses ads which might tempt you.

My mother for example was looking at my site and noted how there was an ad for cruising in there. And yes, my mother loves cruising so it was quite fitting for her........she doesn't know much about the law of attraction (as that is what my site is about) but the ad for cruising caught her eye. And this is where adsense can help as people may wind up at your site and not be interested in what you have to say, but an ad may just grab their attention.

Google adsense may not be for everyone but it may be something for anyone who is feeling a bit down about their site and may want to generate a few clicks. It's nice to log on and see that you may of made $1.28 here or 0.25 cents there, it may be just the thing to help motivate you to keep moving forward.........the sky is the limit :o)
