Ranking with Keywords

I have always known the importance of ranking in search engines and how keywords work. I was however always looking for a method that I really understood and can say this works for me. Most internet marketing people say there is only one way to do it and that they are the best of the best in Internet marketing.

I also had no real way of knowing how to find the best keywords and was told that ones with a lot of competition were best. The reasoning is because they are the keywords that people search. While that is true, how is one to get ahead if they are surrounded by all the other people who are using those exact keywords?

The methods that I have learned here tell me otherwise. I can use the keyword search tools and find lower competition keywords and still get ahead in Google. Kudos for the WA team and letting us know some tips for keyword research even with a starter membership.

I am working on gathering all the advice and tips I have together, getting myself organized, and really have a grasp on the material so I feel the most confident. I only have a little more than two days to get the premium membership for this discount in which I am going to be doing.
