Ok so I'm considering starting a new website based on a clothing line of sorts but I am wondering how to create pages and pages of content on clothing? Any advice would be goo

My original niche is plus size capsule wardrobe. Wanna take a look?

https://rhondaleighplussizecapsulewardrobe.com

I have 16 posts about clothing. Maybe you can get some ideas from it?

Thank you Roxy =)

What about featuring some of your favorite designers? Or perhaps the history of some type of garment...or a comparison of changes in style over the years?

That is a great idea Fran, thank you.

hi
Like others have suggested, I would definitely do some research and see pages of others with a similar niche, which I am sure you have already done. I personally like looking at posts on clothing that include pictures of different outfits, like what to pair with what.....maybe having different body shapes and giving suggestions to visitors such as if you are this shape consider this kind of material instead of this...or try this style if you are trying to hide problem area ...just on ideas hope this is helps

Thanks Vesna,

I'm still doing some research I don't see much as far as content when it comes to lingerie wear...Thank you =)

Don't forget clothing itself is a broad-based niche you would need to focus on a certain type of clothing at first and gradually as you increase your website presence you can expand a bit more.

What type of clothing is it evening wear, sports clothing, gym wear are just a few to work on along with as others have mentioned the material what benefits does it have.

It is cotton, bamboo, polyester and so on

There is so much you can write content on but you need to start off on a particular style first and as I said build up later as you expand your presence online.

I do have a style in mind but I'm nervous about the "peoples" reaction on it around here lol. I wanted to do lingerie based clothing...

Do the lingerie based clothing if you want but remember that has nothing to do with members here as you won't be promoting it within the community anyway as it is not allowed.

The only time a member would see your site is if you are requesting site comments or feedback apart from that no one would know.

Don't be embarrassed about your niche topic there is nothing wrong with that many sites promote lingerie and you will see many in magazines as well so there is nothing to be nervous about.

As long as you write informative content on the topic to help benefit your readers go for it.

Wishing you well

Just believe in yourself and in all you do.

Andre

Thank you Andre =)

You are very welcome just don't worry what others think, feel or say.

You just keep going forward any thoughts by others is their issue to deal with not yours.

Enjoy your day and have a great weekend when it comes.

Andre

You too =)

I will thank you :))

There are a few things you could cover within a article... materials used, the brand (maybe a good place to put an external link) maybe a comparison post.

Also check out how others are writing their posts this will give you some more ideas too.

Martin

Thanks Martin.

So looking around google at other lingerie websites, there is not really any content just the clothing...

Are they selling stuff ... if they are then how are they doing it ..does this niche rely on different traffic and promotion methods..lots to research

Oh yes, they are selling stuff...

Hi Amanda
The best advice I would give is to go only in niches where you are comfortable in. A niche where you have plenty to say and never run out of ideas, otherwise you will not appeal to your audience.
Thanks

Antonio

Thank you.

Hi Amanda,
Do you have another niche you began with or will this be your first?
Could it be you feel like leaving your first niche and venturing into the new (clothing) one, or you want to pursue them concurrently?

Lots of questions!
I just needed to understand your position before giving advice
Cheers

No I have one other website and had plenty to say on it but its all about Keto and nothing to do with lingerie wear and what I'd like to get into. I'm a little nervous about the back lash of some people's opinion on this new niche i'm considering but....

If you already feel a bit worried, do you think it’s a good idea to go for it?
I think not. To build yourself a long term business, It’s important to go with something you are completely comfortable with.
Just my opinion

I am comfortable with it, I just am not sure about how much content you can write on lingerie....I mean when I look at others websites....its just the clothing...

In that case then you can go for it. All the best

SO I am doing some url inspections on google search console and most of my posts are good but sometimes I get a couple that say the posts are indexed but not submitted in sitem

It means that page or post wasn't listed in your site map the last time Google read it. This is common with newer posts that you've created since the last time Google read the sitemap.

Ok thanks a lot =)

Hi Amanda

I have the same problem.. I will keep you posted on what I find out.
