I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but for some reason, I just can't get my Google Webmaster Tools Account verified. I asked for help from SiteSupport and tried alternative m

Thanks, everyone for your help..some how I got it finally verified

I'm glad you managed to find a solution.

Hey Vesna,

If you find using the All In One SEO plugin verification textbox to verify your website with Google too confusing (see 2nd screen print) perhaps the following training may help you: If not, please see 1st screen print below to see how to access the many different tutorials that you can view until you find one you can follow the easiest.

Hope you find this helpful.

Do you have a Google Analytics account? You can verify your website at Google Webmaster Tools with an Analytics account.

I do have Google Analytics account but this was not working for me eather.. I will try again

The easiest way to set up the account is by attaching it to your Google Analytics account. Once you have your Google Analytics account set up, you can follow these steps from Kyle. If you’ve tried that, site support should be able to offer some assistance. Hope this helps. ☺️

I used 'Ad Inserter' plugin by Igor Funa...there is documentation to explain the process for inserting code, as in it's not just useful for ads.

I got this plugin now just trying to figure out how/where to insert code

Looks like you're sorted now, nice job.

Have you got google analytics? I had that first then did the google console.May not make a difference, those more experienced will know.

Yes, I was having the same problem as Vesna but solved it by verifying my site with Google Analytics.

Have you tried to insert the Code into your Wordpress Editor under the <head>

I tried but kept getting some message back that it could not be verified....

then try it directly Above the <head>

It should work this way but dependent on what theme you use.

I will try thank you

happy to help if I can

I was reading on Amazon Associates Program Operating Agreement
So I was wondering if we have to state on our web page that there are affiliate links on this page and if the

when they click through they end up on amazon so what is the problem?
you could reword it to say - 'a small portion of what you pay at amazon when clicking on the links helps keep this site going - thank you'
but check the wording with them
phil
but put it in your sidebar
if you start with ebay then you need to identify each affiliate link - even worse than amazon

thank you

Yes, FTC rules require you to add to your website.

I recommend you go back to the lesson because the privacy and affiliate disclosure should not be indexed in google.

Thank you I will take a look at it

I added it as a widget to my side menu so it shows up on every post.

Thank you. How do you go about adding it to widget?

In WordPress you go to All in one SEO and add a txt widget to your side menu...then it will show up on the right panel, go type your text add a title and submit.

You can check my niche site to see how I added it, you will see my websites under my profile WA blogs...in my follow me links.its the cake one. You may need to follow me to be able to see it.

Thank you

You are welcome :)

Yes, there’s an affiliate disclaimer template in site content. I placed my on the top menu as a drop down under my privacy policy page.

thank you I don't remember seeing this in training..I will take a look agin

. I found this from another member. It helped me.

Thank you.

Doesn’t the affiliate page template cover this clause ? I am hoping it does because this is all I’ve included

I don't remember seeing it ..maybe i just missed it some how

Yep, at the very least you need to have a page on your site that is a "Disclaimer", that details out the information of your being an affiliate marketer.

If you go to one of my websites I run... say TD ALL OUTDOORS you will see my disclaimer page on my main top menu. Feel free to copy it and change any names in the content there that you need to in order to reflect your website.

Thank you for your help i will take a look

Hi Vpikelja
When you first started building your blog and following the instructions there is a web page already designed for this. You need to make some link changes then post it to be listed on your site with it's own heading. "Affiliate Disclosure"

Hope this helps.
