Professional help with website, anyone?
I was wonderng if any of you ever received emails from "supposed" website developers and SEO experts offering professional help in making your website look more professional and in getting your posts rank high in search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing.
Apparently, my very first website which I built before coming to Wealthy Affiliate has been attracting these people. I bought my domain from SiteGorund and had my website hosted there for over a month and decided to give it up temporarily until I can figure out exactly how to run a website.
Imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon WA while reading a review of Affilorama. To make my story short, I pointed my domain to WA and days after my website went live I started receiving those emails. To date, I received no less than 25 emails offering me professional help and promising to get all my posts on page 1 on search engines, most especially Google.
To my surprise, there were even times, (maybe 3-4) when I was contacted not only through email but by phone. I had no idea how they got my number. I then logged in to my account only to realize my mistake of adding a contact number. So I immediately deleted it. Now, understand that those phone calls were made before I pointed my domain to WA.
I thought those emails would stop coming until a few days ago when I received yet another one promising me the same thing. What did I do? Ignore it! Weeks into WA, I built another webiste on different niche and other than "a link exchange" and visitors' emails, I haven't had one offering professional website development and SEO help.
Have you had this experience? Why do you think I still get those emails even after moving my website to WA? Is there anything I can do?

I cannot exactly remember how many but I think I received email. I ignored it since I know every offer is equivalent to a dime and I don't have that.
I wanted to learn by myself and enjoy the success I received from WA. There are individuals here who are offering help for free because they just want to help.
That's what I thought too, Jimmy. Why would I find help somewhere else when every help we need is right here.
Thanks!

If there is an unsubscribe, I use it. Otherwise I myself am pestered by email whose origins I am clueless about.
Anyway, there are offers of free tricks on how to block unwanted emails found in google. I will try doing some research on this.
The best to you!

Hi Joe,
I don't remember signing up for any website that offers help with website development. But I got fed up so I marked them "spam." Thankfully I stopped getting them.
However, I often receive emails offering a link exchange, which I ignored because I wasn't sure they were legit and if they were, I have no idea how to make deals with them.
Happy Monday.
Another trick...IGNORE AND DELETE.
The best to you.
