The Cosmos Are Shifting!
It has been quite a momentous time in my life and I am so excited for what lies ahead. I lost my job at school due to lack of grant funding, and I really loved working with grades 2-8th on reading comprehension and literacy skills but when grants dry up at public schools, downsizing happens. That led to my being unemployed for 2 months, aside from some freelance work, and we have really been struggling. I had applied to countless companies, hundreds, had a few interviews but nothing panned out. I was getting quite discouraged to say the least.
Cosmic shift number 1.. by some fluke I came across WA and started focusing on the longer term and the short will work itself out without me stressing about it. For the first time in a long time I felt optimistic about the future because I was creating it for myself.
WELL... cosmic shift number 2 happened today... I had an interview for a dream job and.. (drum roll...) I GOT IT!!! It will be perfect for me to get some good money rolling in while continuing to work on my website(s), less stress for the family and myself and I will then be able to afford more adventuring which I need because my first project here is an adventure blog.
I just wanted to share the good news with my WA family because I know I am not the only one who was dealing with feeling mentally discouraged.. just remember things can change in an instant! Keep working hard at what you are passionate about, and never give up!!

That's great! I'm a big believer in doing this online business stuff "on the side". It's good to have that stability of a steady paycheck while you try to figure out how the online business works.
My first year of doing affiliate marketing back in 2013, I ended up making almost twice as much as my day-job. It was really tempting to quit and grow my online business. But I'm sure glad I didn't. That one affiliate company I was promoting ended up changing their partnership program and my income dropped by 90% overnight.
Yikes!
So nothing wrong with getting a job and working this on the side.

Thank you Ryan! I agree with you 100% on staying stable while working on this. I mean, it really isn't my ultimate dream job which would be National Geographic, but it is way better than other options in my area AND I get to photograph cars all day... mmmmmm.. I love cars and I am a photographer... Life is good. :)
I was once a photographer. :) Even started my affiliate income around the "photography on the side" niche. That's actually the domain name of that site! lol.
Being paid to photograph cars sounds like a sweet gig. Good luck and have fun!
