If I have an interest in an area but don't have expert knowledge or maybe even average amount of knowledge, is this the wrong nice choice? I'll give you an example. I still p
If you're passionate enough about it to write about it and research any thing you might not know I'd say it's a good idea! The fact that your brother is a coach is great, I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you bounced some ideas off him!
Thanks. I actually started thinking along the same lines as what you mentioned so there are a couple of things that came to mind. My wife and I actually enjoy travelling and watching movies so maybe I'll entertain those ideas.
Sounds good! Just make sure it's something you're passionate about, as researching and writing something you find mundane will get boring and frustrating and you will find yourself giving up!
It is more important that you love to write about it. You will get knowledge in the process.

How to choose the right niche?

Volleyball is absolutely a niche, albeit a broader one with many more specific niches within it.
When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:
I want to help people that ______________.
Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let us know and we will give you a hand. :)
Always follow your passion though, if you enjoy writing about something and communicating about it, this will not feel like work (creating your business that is). :)
Thanks Kyle. I started thinking about some other things I find interesting although I'm not entirely sure how it fits into the question you mentioned above. So for example, I like reading about other places in the world to visit. I wanted to learn about the hotels, people, culture, things to do, safety, etc. That is one topic I did find interesting.
Another thing I liked also was researching fitness equipment. Actually, in general, I like reading reviews on almost anything. It depended on what I was looking for at the time but at that time it was fitness equipment. I also checked out winter clothing once and researched that.
I do have some ideas but I guess at this point, I'm not sure what the content of the website would be. Maybe that comes in later as I progress through your training. I understand the part about the affiliate links but I'm not sure what the actual body of the website would be.
If you could maybe provide some guidance on the items that I had mentioned, that would be greatly appreciated. I think that would help me move forward in the training. I just need to figure out the niche first. Thanks.
