I Purchased My First Domain!
Guess What?!?!?
I've done it! I just purchased my very own domain and completed my site transfer from SiteRubix. I am so excited that I'm making moves here at Wealthy Affiliate. Last night I completed the final lesson in course 1 and today I started on course 2.
My niche is natural mood stabilizers. I want to help people improve/stabilize their moods naturally through the use of herbs, supplements, and vitamins.
Before settling on my domain name, I asked my friends and tallied their responses. I wanted something simple, catchy, and easy to remember. So here it is:

Congratulations on getting that done. Just one thing you may want to think about before you continue. That is one enormous image. It means that people have to scroll down to find content. They may not bother. If you ask Kyle - he will always tell you to avoid huge images like this as they serve very little purpose. (Yours is beautifully tranquil)

Thank you for your feedback. I was thinking the same thing. I love that it is such a beautiful image (it comes with the theme) but it annoys me when I click on something in the menu because you almost think that the content didn't load since it's so far down below the image. I enjoy the image but I don't want to turn people away so I will definitely look into switching themes. I want to keep it calm and upbeat since I'm trying to provide a sense of hope for people that want to improve their moods. I want people to instantly feel happy when they get to my site so maybe I'll go for something more bright this time with a smaller image. Or at least one that doesn't hide my content beneath it. Thanks again for your opinion though. I can't wait to keep going through the lessons, adding content, and editing!

Thank you! I can't wait to have more content to share. It's really just the framework like the lessons outlined but I'm steadily going through, learning, and applying everything. I can't believe I own my very own website. It's so exciting and what a steal too! Only $10 a year! That's almost free lol
There is so much to learn here at WA that you will be learning something new almost everyday. It is such a great feeling to own your very own website. If you would have searched for a coupon code you could have gotten your domain for 99 cents.

Your site looks great! I love the colorful veggies and fruits in the background. Good choice and the overall layout in nice too. Thanks for sharing. I love seeing what other people are up to here. It's very motivational. I've got a long ways to go but am very excited about the road ahead. I'm going to put as much time and energy as I can into educating myself on all things Wealthy Affiliate. I'm also reading some books on marketing with Google and blogging in general. It's really interesting stuff.
