Let Other Affiliate Marketers Do Some of The Heavy Lifting For You.
Research can make the difference between a post and a brilliant post one of the best that you have ever written. It can turn you from a novice to an expert in any given topic.
Well not an overnight expert, but if we chip away at our researching techniques then each article will have just that little more authority.
We are all different so we all tackle this aspect of content creation differently, once we have discovered our natural flow, it can become a process that brings just as much pleasure as the writing and producing of content does.
Over the last while, I have been exploring the opportunity to have information of my choosing delivered straight to my inbox every day.
It is a pretty basic process but it works a treat, and it will work for any niche.
Simple lifting
- Set up a new email address
- Dedicate it to your niche whatever that is.
- Start signing up to just about every opportunity that is associated with your niche.
I noted " just about" we still need to be selective if we do not then your new inbox will become polluted as quick as a flash.
This will only work if you dedicate it to your niche, the only emails that you will get initially will be associated with it.
Whatever you do, try not to start signing up to general interest or slightly related content, we just want to focus on the core of what our niche is about.
Three things will happen,
- We will get a constant stream of value delivered to our inboxes on a daily basis.
- We will sign up for an email list, promotion or newsletter and receive absolutely nothing, happens more than you think.
- Your poor little inbox will get spammed until it is full to over flowing.
From observation, it is a hybrid of the three and periodically a purge is necessary.
Why on earth would you do that seems like a waste of time and counterproductive?
Well,
- When you sign up with fellow niche marketers, you get to see what is being promoted, what is trending, what is hot and what is not.
- Newsletters are a great source of information and the start point for research or ideas for content creation.
- Keep up to date with what is trending in your niche, once you get into the trending mindset at times we can predict the next new thing, a definite advantage in the content creation stakes.
- Product launches or reviews are a wealth of ideas and information.
- Some affiliates turn up with such value we can only benefit from their offerings.
The thing to think about is that you get a constant flow of knowledge and information streaming into your inbox on a daily basis.
" Follow the suggestion to keep it dedicated then it will be dedicated to your niche".
A win-win.
So the reality of it is that you have created your very own personal ideas machine, it works by association some folks are kind enough to help with some of your heavy lifting.
Initially, I thought that it would just become a spam fest, I am pleasantly surprised, some folks do spam you but that is a learning in its self, the majority of emails are a source of some really good information, a great way to start the day, keep in touch with your niche, what's happening and who's doing what and the most beneficial thing, get those creative juices flowing.
I am not saying copy, what I am promoting is always try to create an edge, that will help you to create the opportunity to create unique and exciting content.
That can start with the right research, based on right and timely information.

Hi Steve let me know how you get on, in the beginning, I thought that I would receive emails of little value, it kind of happens when we get " sign up happy".
The thing is that we are only focusing on our own niche so the information seems to be dedicated to a degree and Gmail still sends folks to the spam folder so all good.
lol...good one Alex, that will actually work, I think it is a bloody good idea!.. the problem is I did that when I was learning Forex trading and my email box is literally over burdened with emails and frankly I have no time to read...but yes you can pick and choose I guess... thanks for that I might try it again and it will give me ideas on articles to write as well
Classic, Gus, Forex trading, I would say that is one niche that would attract more than the national average of folks wanting to promote the life out of it.
I had a similar issue, ended up juggling too many ideas and threads through the same inbox, that is when a moved to the idea of using a dedicated email account, I have a couple with Gmail for that purpose. just star the ones that are of value and like I said purge every now and then.

Just curious how did you go with forex trading, I guess much like stocks, an all in or all out kind of situation.
I had some good times with Forex,I might go back to it in the future...but I am here now so I want to get this sorted out first, maybe branch out later. take care and wishing you well

As you say, it keeps you dedicated to your niche and you get quality content, which you can deliver quality content.

Hi Paul, I think the association is what drives it, relatively simple but it is a simple kind of works well kind of thing.
Being connected and aware of what is going on at a niche level on the marketing side of the fence brings some real value.

And where do you live that keeps you up at this hour? Or Re you just devoted like myself and finding it hard to put it down for the night hehe

I have been doin a little of this by sogning up for newsletters. I get a lot of info and all on the positive side then i research some bad stuff to try and balance things out a bit. But yes, theyr snd you lots of good content. Also I create a "burner email acct" when signing up so if i get spammed then no biggie i just shut it down

Really helpful in some niches, one that springs to mind is the MMO niche.

I would like to just add one thought and that is do not get shiny object syndrome... Shiny Object Syndrome is when you jump from one system to another and never really get anywhere.
When you use this method your going to be hit with every offer under the sun some good most pure junk.
Stick with Wealthy Affiliate. Stick with the training. Use this method to enhance your content. What your looking for here is content ideas, and trends.
Nothing More !!
I had personally been guilty of this for years and it got me nowhere. So listen to me when I tell you stay focused, do something daily, and you will find success!

Hi, Glen good to meet you, thank you for sharing your insights, taking action on a daily basis does bring results.
If we look to the MMO niche then true you will tend to get a lot of offers for new products, software etc, we are not using this to buy but rather research, it is quite a powerful way to go about it. We can learn so much.
The thing is that we control the flow of information in with what we choose to sign up to.
So if we look at say the fishing niche and actively search out, opportunities to receive information you do get a lot of real gems. In the general product niches being selective. brings real value.
