How To Write A Viral Post - WA Training

* For a long time, I've been wondering How To Write A Viral Post with Wealthy AffiliateTraining that can help me to take my website to reach hundreds of visits per day. Well it looks like yesterday I did it! *

I have been busy lately and I haven't shared any post to the WA community for one reason, I didn't have anything good to share.

Another reason I didn't share any blog to the WA community was, because I was focused to learn again what to do the right way!

Back to Wealthy Affiliate Training.

I've been working on my Niche Site for months and months, with poor results, so I decided to go back to the beginning and study why my website was not working good.

What I can't change:

• I can't change my website name (URL)

I won't start a new website just because this site is not working as good as I want it to be, I have already over 120 posts on it.

What I can change:

• The way I write the content for my site.
• The way I create content to share on Social Media

What I need to do:

• Take the time to study how to write correctly a post for a website.

It took me about one month to go back to the basic training here at Wealthy Affiliate and to a SEO training on YouTube.

Write A New Post For My Website.

So here's what I did:

• I wrote on paper a list of the Keywords I need to focus for my website (Kyle's training)
• I check on Google Analytics and Search Console what keywords were working better on my site and I checked on those post for how i would write them and how the keywords were written on those posts.

With this information on my mind and on paper, I went to work on step 2

Take a look to my competition on Social Media.

I focused on what my competition is sharing on Social Media.

- When I spotted one share from my competition that was doing really good, I asked to myself:

• Can I do that? (quilting tutorial) - Yes, I can
• Can I do it better, thinking on my clients will like to make it? - Yes, I can!

Next step was to work to on the tutorial, this step took me 3 or 4 days, from picking the right material to making the video, write the post, making the images to share and the PIN to share on Pinterest.

OK, the new tutorial is ready to click on the PUBLISH button - Voila! the article was published last Wednesday.

I wait one day before I share it on Social Media.

Yesterday was the day to share this new post to Social Media, which I did early in the morning!

Wait, wait and wait a little before I could check on how well or bad is that post doing.

Ok, now you can check on it.

Oh, I must say, I only use for this particular niche Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook.

Yesterday I only shared the new post on Pinterest and on Facebook page.

Pinterest report - only 2 shares yesterday :(

Facebook report - after a few hours that I shared that new post on Facebook, I already have a few loyal Fans and friends who always share my new posts on Facebook.

My friends were the ones who shared that post first - So I always thank them for helping me share my new tutorials.

Then I share that new tutorial on a group, - yes, only to one group -

And the magic started!

I went to check how well or bad that new post was doing on Google Analytics.

Wow, there was someone reading my post!!

That never happens to me, and I never check on GA to see how a new post is doing, but yesterday I was curious to see if the changes on my writing was doing.

Yes! two people reading my new post!

After a couple of hours I had to check it again...

Yes, I've never seen this before, 5 people at the same time reading my new post!

My website keep like this all day yesterday, from 1 to 2, 3, 4 and even 6 people on it!

So I had to check on my site and see what was happening there.

Facebook shares = 58

This was how I knew my post was doing really good on Facebook, people were share my post there!

Facebook shares a few hours later 72!

Then it went even better, I didn't get any screen shot later, but the number was even better!

But this morning :( somehow the numbers of shares on my post dropped :(

Only 27 shares on Facebook this morning, I don't understand how did that happen.

I'll wait a few more days to see how people keep share my post on Facebook or not.

The magic number on my site on Google Analytics this morning was 191 visits yesterday!!

I know, it was only one day but it was a good day for me.

What to do next!

As Jay says: rinse and repeat!

I will keep working on my site this way, and I hope to come back here soon to share some good results.

For the moment I can say seeing my site going from 20 to 30 visits per day to 191 visits yesterday, it feels amazing!

Closing thoughts.

Many of you have been following WA training and today you have amazing good results from your websites.

You might be making already enough money to quit your job and live the lifestyle you always dreamed on.

But if you're new to WA or if you're still dealing with low traffic to your website, go back to the training and check what is not working on your site and write new content.

Check the old content and improve it, (don't touch the URL) but check the keywords and your writing.

Take a look to your competitors and write better posts for your readers.

I'll follow my own advice and I'll keep writing new tutorials to share on my website. As soon as I get new results I'll be back here to share them with you!
