Ripped off buying on internet.

Buying a cheaper product or the real thing

I found an alarm clock with radio that I wanted on an international website from the USA. I then looked to see if I could get the same product in Europe, where I live. I found the exact same product and bought it. When it arrived I realized it did not do what was stated on the advertisement. Looking further, the product arrived from China, even though the local website said "in stock". I asked for a refund and the email I received back from the supplier only asked to change my terrible rating of the company and product and keep the product.

I went back to the US website and bought it. Now I have both the products. Both look exactly the same. The US version works perfectly, but the Chinese product does not work as specified.

So BEWARE when buying on all the big sellers. Do your research before you spend.

This is good advice. Its one of the problems that haunts Affiliate Marketing.

It's important to always be vigilant when buying anything, especially online.
Erica

You have to be real careful on products, thanks.

Hello AJ, if there is one thing that I do religiously is research a product before purchasing.

Good reminder :)

Thanks for the insight.

Buyer beware... sad fact! I received several pieces of counterfeit jewelry on eBay, luckily eBay backs the purchase.

I agree also, many thanks for sharing Tosh.

I agree with you.. I will pay more attention now when buying something online. Thanks for sharing..

Pat

I totally agree with you most of the smaller things you buy from china are rubbish, and what the say on the box or package is not always true, keep eyes open,

Gerard.
