Wealthy Affiliate Marketplace Concept - What Do You Think?
Hello WA community!
I may not be the first WA member to wonder if there may be a good idea to have a WA Marketplace tab and space allocated for its members [operating under the guidelines set by Kyel Carson and their team] to advertise, buy and sell domain names, websites, etc.
Perhaps there will be some advertising fee which will have to be paid to WA by the poster/seller, once again based on certain criteria.
It seems that such Marketplace will enable all WA members to advertise and to market their own domain names, websites, etc, . to other members who would otherwise have to search for and purchase or sell them elsewhere to non WA members.
There may have been some prior discussions here on this subject previously, however, I see on a daily basis situations which would have benefited all WA members if such a Marketplace was available.
Please let me know what do you think.
Blessings!

Good morning Carlos,
Thank you for your feedback.
We will see if Kyle, Carson and team will consider it and what they would think about it.
I didn't want to add to their massive E-mail or PM stacks so I just shared it in here as a post, seeking feedback.
Blessings!
Hi Gabriel.
You prompted a good idea.
Let's see what Kyle and his team will say about that.
Cheers.
David,
Thank you for your input.
The overall idea is to serve the needs of our OWN 1.4 million strong Wealthy Affiliate worldwide community OR they will have to waste time searching and seeking solutions for their needs, goods, products or services elsewhere, dispersing in virtually millions of individual quests and having to deal with whatever levels of ethics and lack thereof.
The wheel has already been invented and we know that it works.
Always!
Blessings!
Derek,
Thanks for the kind comments.
My overall view is that there are needs to be fulfilled by members of a 1.4 million members and who best to do so if not other WA members, within specific rules and guidelines.
Alike drivers on a busy highway, we all need to stop to gas up and to buy certain products, services and things at the convenience store or to have some work done in the mechanic shop, etc.
SO LONG THAT WELL KNOWN BRAND GAS STATION [AND CONVENIENCE STORE] EXISTS AND IS AT A SAFE AND CONVENIENT LOCATION.
But if not...
We will then have to take various exits, search for and try to find other gas stations [other platforms] often venturing into the unknown both as to location and safety, as well as quality of products and services and prices.
Just my humble opinion, on what could benefit 1.4 million members.
Blessings!
It's too bad we can't work out some way that other members could buy from our sites, because we do have things that other folks in this group might want. I don't know, though, how it could be set up. Perhaps it will be a future innovation.
Fran,
I do agree, it is a question for Kyle, Carson and their team but I do think that it will greatly benefit all members, therefore I raised that in my post.
Blessings!
Hi Gabriel
I don't feel this would work as when you sell say on Flippa, you get some extremely high prices for domain names and websites and WA is all about Affiliate Marketing, not buy and sell
Only my thoughts
Be interesting to see what other members think
Vicki
Vicki,
Thanks for sharing your experience elsewhere and pointing to whatever pitfalls the concept may have, however, we have 1.4 million members, who, at one point or another are in a position where they are in need to be able to advertise and offer for sale domain names, mature and income producing websites, who can build websites, who can write blog posts, etc. which other members need and desire, yet which currently we cannot communicate with each other.
For example, I have an unused great domain name which prominently features Wealthy Affiliate in it and which some new or existing members may be interested in, but I currently cannot, and rightfully so because of potential spam issues, advertise and sell here and that prevents some other members from ever getting that domain name.
There are other members who would want to outsource website building, blog post writing, SEO maximizing, etc.
We do have Site Comments which offers certain type of interaction with other's websites or services and this concept would be a related kind of platform.
As to the prices, how is that different from when we get posts here that a successful member has sold a website from thousands to tens of thousands to a non-WA member? The free market system takes care of supply and demand, As to jacked up prices, if absurd, they will die on their own by not attracting anyone.
Blessings!

I agree 110%. I see people loosing their Amazon status because they cannot get 3 sales. You mean to tell me that out of 1.8 million members that buy stuff online, that we could not eliminate this problem.
We should have a centralized site that only WA people can advertise upon.
If any of us need to make a purchase, wouldn't you buy from another WA teammate ?
Mark
Mark,
Thanks for the comments, we need to see if Kyle, Carson and the team would like to set up an exclusive marketplace platform here at WA for the exclusive use of all WA members.
Blessings!
