The Internet is an extremely complex place, and there are many many failure points between your browser and a site (any site), unless it becomes consistently slow, I wouldn't worry about it.

This is a pretty common problem. It happens to my websites too.
Here are the three tools that can help you check the actual load speed time:
1. GTMetrix.com
2. WebPageTest.com
3. tool.pingdom.com
Each of them might display different result. But as long as your load speed time is below 3 seconds. You are good to go.
If it is above 3 seconds, then you might need to fix the issue by following Marcus' Training: How to Dramatically Speed Up Your Website I hope it helps. :)
