The Sweet Smell of Success
I finally got not one but two recruits in less than a week!
After being here since May, it feels pretty darn good to see some results.I admit I may not work as hard as some here at Wealthy Affiliates,and do need to put more work into my websites.But it is hard work none the less, and it is a nice feeling to see it finally get a tiny result!
It is also a great motivator, when you get results, even if they are just one baby step. But one baby step it is, and if I get a couple more baby steps, then they will lead to bigger steps, and one day...who knows?
There are many days I have wondered if anything would ever happen, well this week has answered that and now I have to answer back. I did try to welcome the first recruit by posting a blog to welcome my new member. But, even though I have answered many requests to welcome members when I was asked too, It is not allowed here at WA, So it was taken down.
Since I had answered many for others, I was hard to accept that my first member would not be welcomed as I had done for so many others in the past. It is hard also because I watched as members ranked higher very quickly using this method. So, my new recruits and all others going forward will be welcomed by chance, and all my efforts that I had hoped to be returned, alas, it will not happen.I know others feel the same way.
In the days to come, I hope I set a good example for the people who follow me and for my newest recruits. I have learned a lot since i joined here at WA, and have so much more to learn. I want to thank all the members at WA, for helping me each and every step of the way. Without all of you, this would never have been possible.

Thank you for the congrats! It takes some time, but it does work. I was on a week vacation, now I need to get back at it here, and get some content on the sites. You are very new yet, so give yourself some time. I am learning everything here, in fact I am not on face book yet, that is the very next thing after I get some content done! First of all many congratulations for your first 2 referrals. I told you that everything is going to pay off, we just need to be patient and believe in us. Yesterday I also got my first referral, after 5 months of being a WA member.
It's such a great feeling, that you finally start seeing some tiny results. But this results will grow and all your hard work will pay off later, you will see. We just have to continue to do our work, follow the training and then follow it again, maybe we missed some things.
Just like you I also had some time off, and not only a week, but a month. And I can honestly say I was missing a lot to be active on WA and work on my site.
I wish you good luck with everything, believe in yourself and all your dreams will come true. :)

Congrats to you for your first referral! Thank you for your kind words and congrats also! I am constantly returning to lessons and rereading things I missed!
