Concentrate on writing quality content without being salesly
This content will drive trafic to your website so you can sell any related product
The niche that you choose will determine if you review high or low value products
The general advice is to have a mix of low and high value products if you consider the life span of a cookie that is different for each X
The commision rates are different for each X and are related to a category and quantity
Link optimalisation by using the recommended adds of X they will have the highest rate of conversion
Like in a shop we grab what we like so a visitor will naturally click on pisture he likes to purchase
Do not use stock photos use X product pictures
Create one quality review a week and you will be astoniched

I am not quite sure what you mean by "specific amazon...." but I have many amazon products on my site. However, my site is not specifically amazon. I have a number of other affiliates represented on my site in different ways. I am sure a site could be amazon specific.

A good way to get ideas on promoting any product in any niche is to head to good ole uncle google and type in the niche or product idea you have followed up with "reviews".
For example:
cat flap doors reviews

Just go through the first 10 or 20 sites and get ideas about content, format and so on. Bear in mind you don't want to go stealing others work. The good thing about review sites is that they tend to go into a bit of detail about their topic. You just want to see whats working to be on the top pages of google and find your own angle.

Some people here show their sites on their profiles.
You have to follow them in order to see their sites.

Or go to SiteComments and offer comments to other people's sites.
That way you can find out how they are doing it.

Just don't steal other people's content. ;)
That will only hurt yourself in the end.

Promoting Wealthy Affiliate is done via your Niche.
Your niche should be "make money online" or something very similar.
From there you create content on all aspects pertaining to making money online: For example
Building a website ( include a link to siterubix)
A credible teaching program ( include your Affiliate Link to WA)
A vastly knowledgeable community ( include a link to WA)
Etc Etc Etc.
Your website should be promoting your niche with links to WA to guide your audience to the best place to get the education for the subject you are writing about.
