Rejected by Google Adsense

So I have just seen that my application to Google AdSense has sadly been rejected. I only have 5 posts up on my website so far so it was sort of expected after I saw somewhere that the recommended amount of posts before applying is 50.

Has anyone else been accepted on to Google AdSense and do you have some pointers for me?

I want to wait a reasonable amount of time before reapplying so that my site is ready for it and they don't reject me again leaving more disappointment but don't want to wait too long and lose out on potential income. What does everyone else recommend and can you share your experiences in the comments below?

Don't worry. If you don't have the traffic then you wouldn't make anything anyway.

Very true, What is the best way to see if I'm getting traffic?

Hi - you may wish to read my post to see what is required.

Thank you, I'll go have a look the now :)

Sorry to have learned that you've been rejected by Google Adsense friend. My tip: As soon as you are accepted by Google adsense, you will need to continue to write 3-5 posts every week to be consider a worthy blogger. When I mean posts, I mean posts that are helpful, interactive, unique, using the right keywords for SEO, etc.
So, continue to write good posts with the components as I've pointed out and it can make the difference. All the best!

Hi Shannon! I highly recommend you follow Partha (and read his past posts) if you're not already. He has said it's all about getting traffic and not to worry about things like Google Adsense until you're getting a signicant amount (which takes 8-10 months according to him). But he says it much better than I do. You will love him.

He mostly talks about how to write good content and how to set up your posts and find good keywords.

I was also rejected by Google Adsense and I think I had 17 posts at the time. Unfortunately, I can't really help you know when to reapply, but for now I would focus on writing good content and reading "Partha's potions" :)

Hi Shannon, I have to agree with waiting until you have more posts. But the number of posts isn't as important as the quality and of course, the amount of traffic arriving to your site. Remember, it's all about the quality. If you're writing interesting and engaging posts, people will start recommending you and as your content becomes more popular, your organic traffic will increase making it easier for Google to accept you. Hope this helps.

Hi,

Yeah that helps a lot thank you. I will continue to build my content and after I feel there is a lot more traffic I will request for my site to be reviewed.

Best wishes,
Shannon

I think once you're getting about 20 organic hits per day would be a good time to start working on AdSense. Best of luck!
