Comments to sites
I like the idea of giving to receive, but I find it difficult to write an opinion on a site when it flows from one thing to another. I'm not claiming to be the elite writer, or that my opinion is going to make or break. I recently received a passive aggressive comment with a disapproval of my opinion due to not appropriately commenting on the product. If you're writing on a product that eliminates odors, stains, and cleans diapers, fine! Excuse me for noticing the warnings you disclosed on how the products you are advertising also kills bugs and washes your kids clothing!! I probably shouldn't have attempted to input on a site that advertises baby products1 I haven't had that blessing!!
Thanks for letting me vent!

I understand how you feel Michael. You do your best and it gets knocked. It happens occasionally. Better days are ahead!
Enjoy your week.
I know comments have really driven me up the wall a number of times with Wealthy Affiliate. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt when they leave comments that don't have any real value, though.
I actually did a training on this very thing to help improve the quality of comments from other WA users at: How To Write A Great Blog Comment
Thanks.
I try not to let things like this get to me, but this guy did. As I said before, it was an awesome article!
I could have continued working on my stuff but...
Have a good one
Michael
I get where you are coming from. In my humble opinion people who receive relevant comments from other WA members should accept them in the way they were meant. Give and Take.
When these people get real comments from real visitors they won't always be nice, you can bet that some people will pick fault and disagree with a post or review.
when all said and done though, if that person has comments set up so they are not approved until checked out, whats the problem,
If they don't like a comment , don't publish it.
If I receive a comment that disagrees, as long as its relevant and constructive, I publish it anyway, and thank the person for their point of view.
I have done the same. I once received a comment that challenged me. It caused me to think, I published it anyway. As you said that's the way it is out there.
The advantage I had as the writer, was to shape my content better.

Thanks Nick,
I appreciate your input.
The odd thing is that the article was awesome. A lot of information about the product and differing products. I don't know, maybe I didn't understand if he were writing a persuasive article and not a comparison article. It's a mixture of both in my opinion!
Thanks again,
Michael
It did cause me to definitely think! But if I constantly weed through sites I have a little knowledge of the product, I'm wasting my time. If there are those who only want comments agreeing to their article, they are only receiving what they already have-no growth!
I agree, comments that disagree with you can be great for continuing the dialogue. This leads to more comments.
It also allows the website owner to display more knowledge and post links to other onsite articles. Google loves this.
Anyways, don't be put off. :)

Hi Michael
A comment is a comment. People like it or not it is up to them to accept. But if they ask people they get the opinion of that person. If the opinion is different so what, they should accept as long as it is written in an appropriate style and not offensive. If an outsider comment they can not go back and say I don't like the comment.
This is how the people understand in different ways when articles are written. There is good press and bad press.
Thank you.
When I do comment, I try to be constructive with criticism and I respect a person right to accept or reject my opinion. This guy made a comment implying I wasn’t genuine and it was hard for him to engage when he inserted images of dead bugs into his article referring to his ad..baffles me!
Thanks for your response, it helped!
Michael
There you have your answer, the guy had nothing in store to reply to you, so he blames you for making him think and answer.
Just move on, life is to short to worry. Love that you think out of the box.
