Please Knock Before...

I thought very carefully before I wrote this, but I believe it needs to be said. I am not doing this to upset anyone, on the contrary I am doing it to save anyone's feelings in the future. I also will not be answering to any comments on this post. This will become obvious why after you read this.

If anyone outside of Wealthy Affiliate is reading this, please take note that this is a very democratic platform and we value and respect one anothers opinions. And that is why I think this is the best platform for Affiliate marketing anywhere.

Walking in My Classroom.

As most of you know I am an ESL teacher. And I once had someone walk into my classroom uninvited and start giving advice.

And while the advice was nice, the disruption to the classroom was not.

And it seems the same thing is happening here. I believe the people who do it are doing it unknowingly and unintentionally. Or at least I hope so.

Maybe I should explain the common rules of courtesy, or at least the way it was taught to me in business

Advice with a 2 edge sword.

I generally like advice and am happy to receive it in most circumstances. However, I have noticed that some people are offering advice to the detriment of the person who receives it.

The advice given comes with a double-edged sword. It offers advice but it is done in such a way that there is a subtle put down built into the response.

If you do wish to offer advice, look first and then send it as a P.M if it could be construed as self-promotion.

Please be respectful when walking into someone's classroom.
