This phrase is quite popular in Vietnam. And more often than not it is used in a fun way, as Vietnamese people have a wonderful sense of humor and often use other people's biases against them in a "fun" way.
However, this "short" blog is not about cultural insights, but about things that motivate us as "Affiliate marketers"
What Stirs Your Pot.
When "we" first start at "Wealthy Affiliate" our minds may often be filled with the massive amounts of money that "we" will make in the next 3 months. ( Or even quicker)
Possibly you have read an article that someone has posted about how much money "Kyle" or "Cassi" or even I have made. And you are thinking, "Move over members of Wealthy Affiliate" I'm coming through. I am the next "Matt Giovanisci" or "Pat Flynn" or Giggity Diggity ( Not the family Guy) another "Matt", and nobody will hold me back.
And that is a great attitude to have when you start.
Getting down and Groovy.
Breaking news, it's work and it will take time to learn your craft and get your skills up to a par with the 967,845.231,690.401.432.669.901 other people who are trying to do the same thing.
Most people will fail in the first year.
Only 79.1% of small businesses in 2022 survived their first year.
The information sector had the highest first-year failure rate of 26.4% in 2022.
Business owners under 30 years of age are more likely to fail.
The most common reason small businesses fail is that the market simply doesn’t need their products or services.
44% of businesses fail because they run out of cash.

Not All Bad News
If you are reading this, it means you have made the best choice to be successful online. And what is that you may well ask.
You have joined "Wealthy Affiliate" or you are reading my short blog and trying to make up your mind if ..
- I am crazy.
- I am telling the truth.
- If I click on a "link" will I get scammed.
- Who are "Wealthy Affiliate"
- Why bother.
Well, top to bottom, yep I am crazy and that helps in these days and times. But before I was even crazier when I worked for someone else and they made all the money.
Next, you won't know if I am telling the truth until you look for yourself. But here is one comment I got from a post on my ESL site. I teach English in Vietnam in my own schools. I started my own schools because most of the other schools here do not care about the students, they only care about the money.
Here is the comment I received from my ESL website. I keep this site free as I believe education should be free.
This is better than gold.

Your statistics on business successes in the first year are so true. I have shared the same stats since the mid-1980s, and those numbers still hold true.
Yes, if people will follow the steps here in WA, and be willing to work hard, chances of success are much greater than other business models.

Funnily enough I just did a post for my ESL website, “vietnamesl,” with the heading, Laugh and learn.
My maxim has always been this. I believe we learn and remember better if humor is liberally scattered through any learning process.
