I tried to post my WA affiliate link to a board I created on Pinterest and it wouldn't let me use the link provided. Says it may lead to spam??
Any thoughts or workaroun
Use Bitly to mask your affiliate links in ALL of your social accounts. This is very normal.
https://bitly.com/
That site allows you to easily type in your affiliate link and it will then create a new, much shorter link for you to use that is safe for all social accounts. It is also a good idea to do this for your email marketing campaigns if you are doing that.
Let me know if you need any help with this :)
Some posting services prohibit posting affiliate links in their Terms of Service. (Several of the internet forums that I participate in have similar restrictions.)
You should be able to post a (non-affiliate) link to a page on your website. By doing that, you can put the affiliate link on that page. You'll still get people there but without posting the affilaite link itself on pinterest.
Thanks for that, the WA link I provided is very subtle and more or less off the beaten path as my site isn't related to making money or business opportunity, but i'm good with it.
