I got a warning from Google

Last Update: September 20, 2017

Three days ago I published a blog here at WA. I wanted to share it on Google+. I copied the URL and pasted it on G+, as I had done many times before with the posts from my websites. I instantly got the message 'post shared' but nothing happened. I couldn't see the post on my G+ profile. I automatically repeated the whole process. Nothing.

Since I had noticed before that on the G+ app on my mobile devices the shared posts sometimes appeared with a delay, I decided to wait. The next day I tried once more. Nothing.

I suspected it had something to do with the fact that the link to WA blog is an affiliate link. I even asked a question about it here. As usual, I received help from the amazing WA members and with the use of PrettyLinks (thanks @Loes) I managed to share my WA blog on Google +. Unfortunately, it was there not longer than for an hour (probably less).

The next time I logged into my G+ profile, a warning message popped up: 'Recently you have violated...' They did not specify the reason for sending me this warining.

Since I don't post nudity or violence and my content had been verified as unique, I assume they recognized my post as spam. My best guess is that I included too many WA links (to trainings and blogs of other WA members) in my content, but I may be wrong.

I am not going to try to share my WA blog on G+ again. Who am I to mess with Google?

I got a warning and now I have a word of warning for you. I know many of you share your WA blogs on G+ and don't get any warning messages. That's great! Be careful, though! You don't want to be blocked while trying to promote on Social Media.

Here's an excellent training which you can use to avoid troubles: How to promote on Social Media

Happy sharing and all the best to you!

On my end it looks like they thought you were spamming them because of how many times you tried to post it.

When you share your post, do you refresh that page first before you see it has posted?

When I first started to post mine a couple of months ago there, it didn't dawn on me that I didn't see it right after because I needed to refresh the page first to update it.

This may not be your case. If that happened to me and I couldn't post there anymore...I would just move on things happen.

You shouldn't stop sharing them, try later on things may be ok after all.

I did refresh the page. As I wrote, I had noticed before that sometimes I couldn't see my posts on my tablet (mobile G+ app), even though I knew they were there, so I knew I should wait. I even chcecked if the supposedly shared post is there next day.

Besides, when I used the method with PrettyLinks, the post did appear on my profile for a moment. Then it disappeared again.
Anyway, these are just guesses. MKearns is right - I have to find out what the reason was.

Thanks

Ours is not to wonder why. Find out, fix it and reapply!

You're right. I will try to find out. If you mean reapply to G+, I hope there will be no need to do that as I haven't been blocked yet. Thanks:-)

thanks for sharing, have you thought that you got the warning because you try to repost it too many times, even it did not show. That might be why the warning, would be interesting to know why

Yes, I thought it might be the reason, although in that case I wouldn't know why the posts did not appear on my profile in the first place.
