Two Weeks In Boston-No Progress This Month So Far

Two weeks ago I got a call that my sister was having open heart surgery at Mass General in Boston. When I got there I was told that it was cancelled until the next day. Finally on Saturday they did it. Of course she was in intensive care and then went to a step down unit. She did quite well and was transfered to a rehab hospital on Thursday.
However, it was too soon and she ended up at Mass General again the next day. She was there until yesterday and is now in a rehab facility again. Still very tired and has a way to go before she will be able to go home.
Needless to say I spent most of my time in Boston in the hospital. I tried to get a little done, but really couldn't. There were constant interruptions and it was noisy and we were all so stressed that it was impossible to do anything. It has been a very exhausting two weeks.
I finally came home on Monday. Still trying to recuperate and get caught up with household things like laundry. Hopefully, I can get back to work tomorrow. This is a short blog today. Ready to go to bed already and it's only 9 PM. Hopefully things will go smoothly for my sister and the family now. The stress has been beyond anything.
