My Thoughts on Motivation
The things I can do should not motivate you it is the power within you
that should always be your trigger. What Donald Trump has done or Oprah
Winfrey, these are people who are not you and never will be you. Your
life is not theirs, your results are not theirs, and your potential is
far greater than theirs. Don't look for motivation in others but look
deep inside and know you are capable of anything.
Don't walk in my footsteps run past me.

Hi Andy.
By using the Test and Measure method, I have greatly improved my discipline and time working when in front of the computer (as opposed to time spent mucking about with games, YouTube and such).
However, this past weekend I have slacked tremendously because I am faced with a task which is causing me cognitive dissonance. Because it is at the top of my to-do list, I have difficulty going past it. But also, I have difficulty getting it done, yet it must be. I'm trying to find the will to do it, whether that be "will" or "motivation" I can't say, but sometimes, it is **very** hard to do the right thing.

I posted this because I had to post something I have been suffering a mild writer's block a couple of days but today feels like a GREAT day.

If you don't get that, then you're not an avid YouTuber (probably, you're too busy getting stuff done, lol).
Doesn't matter much if you don't get it.
Deep inside we know we can but are so afraid we won't one voice grows louder than the other. Some of the voice of reason though remains, when you focus you can hear it, stay focused and soon it will be the only voice you hear.
The lion walks in a pack but never at the back. He leads, be a lion. Be mighty my friends.
Those without motivation from within have yet to learn to silence the fear and listen to what our heart is telling us.

It's always nice to hear an affirmation, the sounds of a voice who is on our same journey but the path for us we must carve ourselves.

Hey Andy, well written, we are all our own motivators. And, I learned many years ago that only I will look out for me. I like to help others, but, only I can control my actions and it is my responsibility to be accountable for all my successes and failures.

I tell my kids the earlier in life they find that all the motivation they need is inside themselves the sooner they will become the leaders and visionaries that build tomorrow. If they can't find motivation in themselves there is nobody that can put them through to success in life. Words are just words it is we who accept the meaning or reject it.
The path less traveled has still been traveled, be a leader and carve new paths and success is yours.
