My First Month.
I’ve seen a lot of blogs so far about people’s experiences as they progress through the course and get up and running with their website, so I thought I’d document mine also!
I’m now on week 5/6 and making my way through the second level of the course – I’m not as far as I’d like to be but at least I’m making progress… slowly! I never do things by halves and am working on two websites at once!!?! Crazy I know! Trust me to make things twice as hard but I honestly couldn’t decide which one I wanted to do first! So I’m slowly applying what I’ve learnt in each lesson to each website before moving on…...
I’ve experienced a particularly bad month at home with my toddler having a bad cold which turned into an ear infection and then a sickness bug – he then started at nursery a few weeks ago which seemed to have traumatised him for life and now he won’t sleep at night either?! As luck goes, I then caught the bad cold and sickness bug also – so practically a whole month of illness with no sleep! To top that off when I’ve finally had a few hours of spare time over the last week and I seemed to have caught 350 virus's on my laptop so I have had to wait for that to be fixed for 4 whole days before I could do any work – frustrated just doesn’t cover it!!!!!! At least I've caught up with the ironing?!!!!
So, all in all, I’ve made a good start – not quite the progress I had in mind when I set my goals at the beginning of the course but I haven’t given up nor put it to one side never to be worked on again. I’ve worked little and often and will get there in the end.
So far my experience of WA has been great, I’m enjoying the course, everybody is incredibly supportive with this journey we are all on and hopefully I’ll be able to start making some headway now… I've been more motivated during these 5/6 weeks than I have been in a very long time, I just wish I had more hours in the day to spend more time on this!
I saw a post recently from somebody in relation to lack of thank you’s for help given so I just want to say a big “thank you” to everyone who is helped me so far and for your kind words and comments. I haven’t had the chance to answer everybody’s kind words unfortunately but I do really appreciate it.

Glad to hear you and you son are better. You are biting off a lot by doing 2 websites. You will be spreading yourself out thin. It will take you twice as long to get established with a solid foundation to earn some money. It sounds like you could use the income sooner. I would certainly drop one and just concentrate on one business at a time. You will get there a lot sooner. Best of luck! Keep us updated!
Hi VLumbra, I think you are right, I'm just leaving the content and doing the odd blog on my second website to concentrate on the first - what was I thinking!!

At least the ironing gave you some comfort and you haven't lost your sense of humour - lol - .

Sounds like even though you may get momentarily sidetracked by family/life issues, you still have the ability to apply yourself here at WA. You'll go far. Take care.
Glad you are all feeling better! It just takes time but you can see for yourself the progress in how the websites look. It feels good to make progress. Keep it up!

One step at a time. Life has a way of not cooperating with us sometimes. Glad your family is feeling better and you are continuing taking action on building your websites. I was also considering on working on 2 websites at once but after reading some of the other comments from those who have more experience I decided to concentrate on just one. Keep working at it and you will get there. Keep us updated on your progress.
