Today’s Goal: Make Vision Board using Google Picasa

A vision board is a collage of pictures of things that you want to have in your life. The movie “The Secret” goes into detail on how John Assaraf created a vision board with a picture of a beautiful mega mansion that he cut out of a magazine and then several years later he was actually living in his dream home.

Several years ago I made a vision board and placed a picture of an iPad and iPhone on my wishboard and today I am amazed to say that I own them now and they were given to me as gifts.

Create your own vision board by using Google’s Picasa. If you are new to Picasa follow the WA tutorial resource “Organize Your Photos with Google's Picasa” to learn how to use the program.

Find pictures of things like a Volvo, money, dream home, iPad, vacation or anything that you wish to appear in your life and place them in a folder on Picasa. You can also use pictures that you find in magazines by scanning them or pictures that you have taken with your camera.

After you have collected your pictures, select the pictures that you want to place on your vision board and pin them to the task tray of Picasa. Then click on the icon to create a collage.
Select the type of arrangement for your pictures; pick a background and then select save. The vision board collage will appear in your projects folder

Now you can add words or affirmations to your vision board. Click on the collage and edit as you would any photo. Add the text, border or enhance your board using any of the Picasa special effects.

You now have your own vision board. Place your vision board in a place where you will see it daily. Use it as a screen saver, or print your vision board and hang on the wall or keep a copy in your internet marketing binder.

As you look at the board think about what you are trying to attract in your life. Envision being in possession of your goals . This will help your mind make the decisions that are needed to be on the right path to fulfilling your dreams.

Vision boards are also called; Dream Boards or Wish Boards.
