The Gift I Shared with the World
Last November I decided to create a YouTube video to share some beautiful photos that I took of "Polish Star Christmas Ornaments." This video was created as my Christmas gift to the world with no monetary intent behind it. It is simply a slide show of photos set to the music of the Polish Composer Chopin.
I posted it on YouTube, Made a Pinterest Board, and added it to one of my smaller websites. A writer at the Polish Embassy picked it up and placed a link in their holiday newsletter.
Just today I found a heart warming comment on my pinterest board. Below is the comment left on my board:
"I love this ornament and am making them for 12 members of my family. This will have a tag attached with the person's name on it and "a donation in your name will be given to the Gulasono's Childrens Hospital" where my great grandson is a patient"
WA Provided the Tools to Create my Video
If you would like to watch my video the link is below. It is meant for a small niche of people who have an interest in Polish Ornaments. So far over the past year it has had 2,153 hits. I would have never had the skills to produce this YouTube without WA's tutorials.
The skills that we learn at WA can be used in many ways to make the world a more enjoyable place.
Have you created anything that you would like to share?

These are beautiful! It certainly is quite amazing what we are able to do after learning how here at WA, good job on the video!
It was one of my first attempts at You Tube. The process is quite enjoyable. Thanks for watching.
For many years we used to take pictures of the ornaments on our Christmas trees -- we had quite a collection (still do I guess packed somewhere)! Besides being addicted to thrift stores around the home and between two states where we used to live -- and even when traveling we'd go to "junk stores" -- at one time we had a big retail store that was in a three story building that had many display windows -- and which we usually decorated for major holidays -- so we've accumulated some decorations along the way. I never had seen these types before -- so this was a treat to a Christmas ornament nut like me and also something new! Thanks for sharing!
Wrapping paper -- I thought so. I would have looked at the to-do part but I would never make them, so glad you told me! I notice on the first video it has a link to buy a book -- did you put the link on there or did youtube do that for their own benefit?
You Tube put that link on the video. It is kinda annoying. But, YouTube does have to earn money some how. I think you sign up for video adds if you have a certain number of videos. I haven't looked at their terms of service in a while.
Your Welcome. I have a little Polish in my heritage. I always loved these ornaments that are handmade. Crafts that are handed down through generations are part of our history.
Wonderful. My son is a quarter Polish. His late Grandfather was a lovely man :)
Thanks for sharing. - Dave.
